    About this Episode

It is tempting to knock out walls to make big changes to your home but be sure it is safe to do and know who can help to do it legally. Steve Noonan, an engineer will give some tips about how to check it out.

Steve went to school at California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo where he received a degree in Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics. After graduation, he worked for a small engineering firm in Truckee. Later Steve formed his own engineering firm with two other colleagues in 1994, FNW Engineers and have been in business ever since.  His experience working in his local area which has challenging structural issues due to environmental conditions has afforded him the opportunity to be very thorough in his analysis and design.
