[FORMERLY TITLED THE 11th MAN] Dreamers, this is the 4th and final part of our series where we are taking a look at the questionable conviction of Kevin Cooper. The crime itself, a horrifying massacre that stunned a quiet, rural community, was only compounded by a police investigation tainted with lies, manufacturing AND destruction of evidence, cover ups, witness intimidation, racism, and the overwhelming desire to force evidence to fit their narrative by any means necessary. I believe Kevin Cooper is an innocent man sitting on death row as we speak. In our series, we will be looking at all the reasons why this case needs to be reevaluated before it’s too late, and by the time we are finished, I’m certain, most of you will agree, this man has unjustly spent 35 years condemned to die.

And what happened to Sherri remained a mystery until 2020 when DNA found on Sherri's clothing when she was found was matched to an old boyfriend of hers named James Reyes, who ended up confessing to that the whole thing was a hoax Sherri came up with because she was cheating on her husband and probably didn't like him very much if she was willing to go to the lengths she went to just to get a break from him. The 2007 Murders of Jennifer, Michaela & Hayley Petit Perpetrated by Joshua Komisarjevsky & Steven Hayes (Part 3).

On July 24, 2007, 2 men - Joshua Komisarjevsky and Steven Hayes - invaded the home of William and Jennifer Petit in the town of Cheshire, Connecticut. Also in the home at the time were their Petit's two children, 17 year old Hayley and 11 year old Michaela. Throughout the early morning hours, these men attacked William with a baseball bat and bound Jennifer and the daughters upstairs in their bedrooms while they ransacked the house. Not finding what they were looking for - which was a large stash of cash - they decided to wait until morning to take Jennifer to the bank to withdraw money for them. But at some point after the sun came up, the plan to burglarize the home turned into something much more sinister...
