    Living with abortion

We live in a world where horrible, wicked things are happening. People in our culture make them happen. Some of us have participated. All of us are complicit one way or another. How do we deal with that?

    Abortion is easy to refute

    Abortion is easy to refute

Abortion is easy to refute. No, really. Some of the arguments sound good but the minute you shine any light on them they're really crummy. In this episode we go quickly through every argument for abortion and dismantle them all, including old (but challenging if you're not prepared) canards about the life of the mother or rape and incest. By God's grace, maybe this episode will prepare you to do the same.

When we were blind to abortion

When we were blind to abortion

Nathan and Ben try to tally up the staggering numbers of babies killed by abortion. It's well nigh impossible especially when you count chemical abortion. Meanwhile, Tim discusses his early years as a pastor in a denomination (and a Christian culture) that was willfully blind on the issue.

Read the Evangel statement on abortion (which has all the facts and figures Nathan and Ben alluded to) here.

    When the church met abortion

    When the church met abortion

When Roe V. Wade hit in 1973, the American evangelical church was, like, seriously unprepared. It took us years to catch up. What happened? Why was nobody ready to hit this issue head on? Why were the Catholics ahead of us? What was the deal with that? Are we any better equipped now, as the battle continues to rage in a post-Roe-world? These are some of the questions that Tim, Jake, Nathan, and Ben begin to open up.
