Their target was Michael Malloy; a rarely-paying customer that filled a seat in the speakeasy day in and day out, finding the bottom of bottle after bottle. They figured he would drink himself to death soon anyways, why not speed the process along? But killing Michael Malloy proved to be almost impossible, and would end up costing far more time, resources, and lives than anticipated.
