Mind Shift #8 - BITTERNESS, AND OTHER POISONS THAT WILL KILL YOU

If we do not get rid of the bitterness that is within, we will not be able to live up to our potential in life because we are constantly stuck in the past, present, or future.

“...bitterness is not an emotion you are designed to carry. Bitterness is your soul’s way of letting you know that you are out of alignment.”

Here are a few questions we like to ask ourselves when it comes to bitterness. 

• Who do I need to forgive? 
• Who has wronged me that I need to release? 
• Am I not moving forward because I am angry or upset with someone? 

Keep in mind that FORGIVING someone does not mean what they did to us is okay , or that we are brushing it under the rug. Forgiveness is our act of moving on and taking a step towards growth. 

Bitterness is hard to let go, but your growth is more important than holding a grudge!

Questions to ask ourselves this week. 

• What story are we telling ourselves when it comes to our ceiling? 
  • We typically believe in others more than we believe in ourselves. 
• Is there an area of our life, where we are playing the blame game?
  • How can we begin taking ownership and walking towards responsibility for our response and lives. 
• Have we set the ceiling low because of our fear, doubt, or insecurities? 
  • What can you do you this week to move the dial 1%? 

We want to encourage you, no matter what circumstance, no matter what is going on, don't give up. Keep going!

Today we are discussing the distraction the audience. Anything that we do that has an audience tied to it, can bring success, praise, and a boost in our ego. If we are not careful we begin relying on the audience and looking to the audience for approval. 

The work we put in must be...
1. Consistent
2. Focused
3. For our development & not others approval 

Excellence is created through practice and is done with the purpose of preparing our lives for our big moment. Even if that big moment does not happen in our timing, we must continue to prepare and remind ourselves...We Don't Need An Audience.

Today we step into the first MindShift. It’s All About People.
