    About this Episode

After a wealthy estate is being raided by mercenaries for a fortune secured in a vault, Santa must save the family and Christmas.

Violent Night may not be considered a horror movie, but it's a dark, bloody, action movie that has some crazy kills and is a fun ride. There's something great about seeing a badass Santa beating the heck out of mercenaries in an effort to save Christmas. David Harbour stars in Violent Night and does a great job in bringing a disgruntled yet somewhat hopeful Santa Claus to life as he kills criminals to grant a young girl her Christmas wish.

    202 - Ghost Ship (2002) Review

Salvagers come across a lost ship dating back to 1962 that is still floating aimlessly in the Bering Sea and soon realize its dead inhabitants may still haunt the ship.

Ghost Ship has been a movie that Bryan and Shane have seen several times and cannot agree on it and it couldn't be a better time to discuss it. The movie has a great cast and appears to have an interesting ghost story. Will watching it again change their minds or will they still be divided? Mikey "Bratwurst" Benanti hops on the podcast to take a side. Watch the movie and catch our review.

    Final Friday: Deadly Western (2023)

The sheriff of a western town wakes up with no memory and awaits a deadly group of outlaws coming to town.

Deadly Western is a western action movie from our favorite director, Geno McGahee. While we're used to great horror movies from McGahee, this time he brings a western action movie that has a very different tone from the horror movies that are always so much fun. Where will this film line up among his movies? Watch the movie and catch our review.

201 - It Comes at Night (2017) Review

201 - It Comes at Night (2017) Review

As a mysterious sickness spreads, a man established a structured order of living with his wife and son and takes in another family in need of water and shelter.

It Comes at Night is a deep movie that peers into the lives of a family who has recently lost a loved one while isolating from a mysterious sickness and how much they can trust others and their intentions. This is a powerful movie in how quiet and eerie it is. The character dialogue and facial expressions carry the story of two families who live together to benefit each other and must obey a set of rules to ensure the safety of both families. The movie poses a lot of questions and the character intentions aren't known based on how much one family can really trust the other as well as if it's even possible to isolate with another family and be safe. Final Friday: Robert and the Toymaker (2017)

Final Friday: Robert and the Toymaker (2017)

In Nazi Germany, a Toymaker is sought after by the Gestapo after acquiring a book that animates objects and brings them to life.

It's time to discuss the next installment in the Robert series, Robert and the Toymaker. This movie took us by surprise as it opens with a tense 30-minute opening that felt so different from the tone of the previous movies, but was very entertaining. The film also barely features Robert and focuses on other dolls who are also animated by the Toymaker, who is a big focus. Watch the movie and catch our review.

26 short films that all depict death in different ways.

The 200th episode has arrived and we are celebrating in the only way that makes sense. We are discussing ABCs of Death 2 which is a horror movie anthology and a sequel to The ABCs of Death, which we discussed on our 100th episode. Several of our friends hop on to discuss these horror short films in bloody detail. Some of these movies are interpretive, some are direct, but all are crazy. Watch the movie and catch our review.

    Final Friday: Bull Shark (2022)

    Final Friday: Bull Shark (2022)

A small Texas town is terrorized by a shark killing all who go in the lake.

Bull Shark had a very different tone than what we were expecting from a shark, creature feature movie. While we have seen some of the elements in this movie before, it focuses on a deep alcohol storyline that does change the expectations of the movie. This film isn't a normal shark movie as it focuses on a family drama along with a killer shark in a lake. Watch the movie and catch our review.

    199 - Sweet Movie (1974) Review

    199 - Sweet Movie (1974) Review

Miss Canada wins a pageant for virgins and gets married to a wealthy milk tycoon, which she escapes to surround herself in the sweet, chaotic world around her.

It is the end of Fucked Up February and there's no better opportunity to discuss a movie that we have been bringing up for years. Sweet Movie is a satire, full of disgusting scenes that made us question what we were watching when we first saw it years ago. After rewatching it, nothing has changed, and it is just as disturbing as it was on the first watch. Damian, The Eggman, LaGrasta joins us to discuss this rollercoaster of a movie that is messy, nonsensical, but mostly sweet. Watch the movie and catch our review.

Final Friday: Hunt to Kill (2010)

Final Friday: Hunt to Kill (2010)

U.S. Border Patrol agent, Jim Rhodes and his daughter, are taken hostage and asked to guide a group of criminals looking for revenge through mountainous Montana.

We're happy to be discussing another Stone Cold Steve Austin movie! While we thought we would be getting more Eric Roberts in Hunt to Kill, it was still a fun watch and it's always a pleasure to see Stone Cold kick ass in the mountains. Watch the movie and catch our review.

198 - The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) (2015) Review

198 - The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) (2015) Review

A failing prison warden, attempts to solve his problems by creating a 500-person human centipede out of his prisoners based on the idea from The Human Centipede movies.

The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) is not a fun watch. This is the second time we watched this film and we wanted to finish the series, however, we were not looking forward to it. The film is uncertain if it wants to be a comedy or a horror. It most likely wants to be both, but falls short in both areas and comes off as annoying. While we're not a big fan of these movies, this one was definitely not for us. Watch the movie and catch our review.

    Final Friday: The Final (2010)

    Final Friday: The Final (2010)

After years of hardship, a group of students enact revenge on the popular students who've bullied them through high school.

The Final is a movie that Bryan and Shane watched years ago and really enjoyed how deep the movie was. Will they have the same reaction years later? This is a film that deals with dark subject matter related to bullying and poor family dynamics. There is an interesting revenge element to the movie that makes it entertaining and where all character intentions are called into question. Watch the movie and catch our review.
