2 Thessalonians Chapter 1: Gone, Baby, Gone

Paul reminds a worried Thessalonian church to trust in their salvation.

Paul gives to the Thessalonians the roadmap of the end of days.

Paul begins his second letter to the Thessalonians encouraging them to stay the course and that God will one day see to is that those who persecute the church will receive judgement. 

Paul urges the Thessalonians to remain faithful and keep one another safe in love and hope. 

One day the time will come when the Kingdom of God will be fully realized. 

We take a closer look at 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17.

Paul comforts the Thessalonians with the message that even those faithful who have died before Christ's return will receive the blessing. 

Paul reminds the Thessalonians that they are no longer who they once were, so they no longer should live that way. 

Paul shares with the Thessalonians how the power of their faith is pulling him through his own troubles. He encourages them to remain faithful and they and those they influence will find victory.

Paul encourages the Thessalonians to remember how he and his compatriots lived when they were there with them. He reminds them of how much he loves them and all that he did for them that proves this love and his faithfulness to God. We also see here the first glimpse of what the Thessalonians are facing.
