29. Covid is the New Herpes… with Benny Mathew

At Age 7, Benny Mathew immigrated to the US from India. He grew up in a predominantly Sicilian neighborhood in the suburbs of Chicago, poor, chubby, and racially confused. Later in life, it took watching his aunt, a real female role model, pass away from cancer, to see that he wasn’t living up to his own potential. He ended a marriage that did not bring him joy anymore, moved to Chicago, and joined the ranks of the single life.

We talk to Benny about this change and so much more (Including why Covid is the new Herpes!) on this week’s episode of Behind the BJ.
