How did Dr. Suzanne Cohn turn her life around?

    • Brian Regan's Excitement for Upcoming Shows and Father's Day GiftsComedian Brian Regan is excited for his upcoming shows in various cities and encourages fans to check his website for tour dates. He also suggests buying Father's Day gifts on Amazon, jokingly suggesting unusual gifts. His podcast, 'Your Mom's House,' is sponsored by an Amazon banner.

Brian Regan, the comedian, is excited to be back home after finishing a show and is looking forward to performing stand-up comedy in various cities, including Seattle, Portland, Brea, San Jose, Buffalo, Hartford, Ontario, Pittsburgh, and Richmond. He encourages fans to check his website for tour dates and to buy Father's Day gifts on Amazon. Brian also mentioned that he has a lot of new material to share and is happy to be back. He jokingly suggested buying unusual gifts for Father's Day, such as breast pumps or cock rings, and assured listeners that his father would be supportive. Brian's podcast, "Your Mom's House," is sponsored by their Amazon banner and encourages listeners to shop through it to support the show.

    • Enjoying the simple things in life and unexpected experiencesSharing simple pleasures and embracing unexpected events can bring greater joy than material possessions or expensive gifts.

Material possessions and expensive gifts don't hold significant value for both parties in the conversation. Instead, they prefer simple pleasures like fried pepper turkey sandwiches, cupcakes, and massages for special occasions. The discussion also touched on unexpected events, such as the discovery of a leak in a pipeline and the importance of communication when plans change. Additionally, they shared a humorous story about an unusual massage experience, highlighting the importance of being open-minded and trying new things. Overall, their conversation emphasized the importance of enjoying the simple things in life and finding joy in unexpected experiences.

    • Hoax videos of man interrupting news broadcasts with obscene phrases go viralBe cautious of fake news and hoax videos, as they can spread quickly online and may be intended for financial gain.

A series of hoax videos featuring a man interrupting local news broadcasts with obscene phrases, including "fuck her right in the pussy," have gone viral. The man, identified as John Kane, has been found to have previously created similar hoaxes, and the videos were not part of actual newscasts but edited to look like it. The incidents were a joke, but the hoaxes spread online before being discovered. Kane is now trying to capitalize on the meme by selling merchandise. It is important to be aware that these videos are fake and should be ignored.

    • Exploring Chuck Woolery's Unique Ventures and AppealDespite initial skepticism, speakers acknowledged Chuck Woolery's ability to captivate audiences and predicted a potential comeback. They also discussed his unique hosting style and fans' appreciation for his work, as well as his T-shirt line and unexpected political tweets.

The discussion revolved around the unique charm of Chuck Woolery and his various ventures, including his T-shirt line and his unexpected stance on political issues. Despite the speakers' initial skepticism and humor towards his money-making efforts, they acknowledged his ability to captivate audiences and even predicted a potential comeback. Additionally, the conversation touched on Chuck Woolery's unique hosting style and his fans' appreciation for his work. The speakers also shared their personal experiences with his T-shirts and expressed amusement over his recent political tweets. Overall, the conversation showcased the enduring appeal of Chuck Woolery and the intrigue surrounding his diverse endeavors.

    • Turning crisis into opportunityLife's crises can lead to pursuing dreams and discovering solutions for common problems, with advancements in healthcare and consumer goods making accessibility a reality.

Life's crises can actually be the perfect time to pursue your dreams. This was demonstrated by Dr. Suzanne Cohn, the co-founder of Smart Mouth Company, who turned her life around after a terrible car accident that left her unable to work. Instead of giving up, she followed her dream of creating a product to solve a common problem – bad breath – and started the Smart Mouth Company. Another key takeaway is the convenience and accessibility of modern healthcare and consumer goods. HIMSS is changing men's health care by providing access to affordable ED treatment from the comfort of one's own home. Similarly, DoorDash offers the convenience of having alcohol delivered straight to your door, allowing customers to save money and enjoy their evenings. Additionally, there are solutions available for common health issues that make life easier, such as virtually pain-free catheters from Medical Direct Club. These catheters offer self-lubricating, pocket cap, and greaseless designs, resulting in less trips to the doctor and fewer infections. Medicare and insurance now cover the cost of these catheters, making them an accessible option for many people. Overall, these examples show that even in the midst of life's challenges, there are opportunities to follow your dreams and find solutions to make life easier and more convenient.

    • Celebrities and Financial StrugglesDespite wealth, celebrities may face financial hardships and need alternative income sources. Institutions and systems may not provide adequate support, leaving individuals to rely on their fan base and financial security.

Despite having successful careers and impressive net worths, some celebrities, like Chuck Woolery, may still feel the financial pinch and resort to endorsing products or hosting multiple shows to make ends meet. The discussion also touched upon the idea that institutions and systems, such as the healthcare law and AARP, can sometimes fail to provide adequate support, leaving individuals to fend for themselves. The conversation also included a few anecdotes about personal experiences with catheters and the financial implications of losing a steady income source. Ultimately, the speakers emphasized the importance of having a strong fan base and financial security to fall back on when one's career begins to dry up.

    • Personality can impact roles negativelyIdeal Jeopardy host is low-key, personality can distract, moral considerations matter in relationships

Personality can be a detractor in certain roles, such as the host of a quiz show like Jeopardy. The ideal host is supposed to blend into the background and not be charismatic or attention-seeking. The speaker also discussed his personal views on marriage and relationships, suggesting that one might consider an arrangement like that of Anna Nicole Smith and her late husband, but emphasized that he could not condone such behavior due to moral concerns. The speaker also shared a personal anecdote about wearing a police hat and feeling uncomfortable without it, especially when traveling.

    • People's actions are influenced by past experiences, emotions, and circumstancesPeople's decisions are complex and can be inconsistent, shaped by their past experiences, emotions, and current circumstances

People's actions and motivations can be complex and inconsistent. In the first part of the discussion, a police officer received a free coffee and felt guilty for not paying for it, but later in the conversation, they admitted they would not report finding a large sum of money. The officer also mentioned their past experiences with being shortchanged and taking incorrect change. The conversation also touched on the idea of finding value and clarity during spring cleaning and discovering better deals. The overall message is that people make decisions based on various factors, and their actions can be influenced by their past experiences, emotions, and circumstances.

    • The risks and heartache of having a toxic partnerBe wary of unreliable and manipulative individuals, prioritize self-care, and cherish good relationships

Having a toxic and unreliable partner, referred to as a "cum dog" in the conversation, can lead to disappointment, betrayal, and heartache. The speaker warns against trusting such individuals due to their inherently immoral and manipulative nature. The discussion also touches upon the realities of aging and the importance of self-care. Despite the negative experiences, the speaker expresses gratitude for the good relationships and the health of his father. The conversation ends with a reflection on the filming of a show and the importance of being cautious about discussing it before its release.

    • The importance of self-awareness and addressing perceived flawsRecognizing our weaknesses can make us more confident and resilient against criticism. Awareness of perceived flaws can prevent others from using them against us.

Acknowledging and addressing our perceived flaws can help us gain confidence and resilience against criticism. The speaker in the conversation expresses his self-consciousness and insecurities about his weight and age, but also recognizes that people may perceive these flaws differently than he does. He shares that he has learned from a book by Dr. Phil that if we are aware of our weaknesses, others cannot use them against us. The conversation then shifts to the topic of the animated series "House of Cosby," which satirically portrays Bill Cosby cloning himself. The creators of the series faced a lawsuit from Cosby's legal team for using his name, voice, and likeness without permission. The speaker expresses his amusement at the situation and suggests that people should watch the series to understand its humor. Overall, the conversation highlights the importance of self-awareness and the resilience that comes from acknowledging and addressing our perceived flaws.

    • A parody of The Cosby Show brings laughter and legal challengesThey enjoyed a humorous parody of The Cosby Show but faced legal issues due to poor audio quality and renamed it. Frustration with slow internet speeds and appreciation for humor were also discussed.

The speakers in this conversation were deeply entertained by a parody of The Cosby Show called House of Cosbys, which they watched obsessively for a long time. They found humor in the idea of having multiple Cosby dolls with various specialties to help around the house. However, they eventually realized that the audio quality was not good and had to change the name of the parody to avoid legal issues with Bill Cosby. Despite the challenges, they continued to enjoy the experience and even named their dog after their shared love for The Cosby Show. The conversation also reveals their frustration with slow internet speeds and their desire for faster connections, as well as their appreciation for humor and their playful banter.

    • Friends make jokes and parodies about Bill Cosby during hockey playoffsA group of friends gather for hockey playoffs, making light of Bill Cosby's age and various roles while creating a Cosby figurine as a satire.

The conversation revolves around a group of friends collecting bets during hockey playoffs in a neighborhood, with Bill Cosby being a central figure in their jokes and parodies. The friends make light of various Cosby characters and even create a Cosby figurine as a satire. Cosby's age and his association with various roles, such as entertainment and housekeeping, are also discussed. The conversation also touches upon Generation America, an organization that offers benefits to seniors, and a zine called Small Feelings featuring a weeble wobble character urinating. Despite some crude humor, the friends seem to have a good time and enjoy each other's company. However, it is important to note that the conversation includes explicit language and references to adult content.

    • Financial stress and personal struggles can lead to drastic decisionsFinancial struggles and overspending can lead to debt, ruin, and even drastic actions like murder. Save and live within means to avoid such outcomes.

Financial stress and personal struggles can lead individuals to make drastic decisions, even to the point of taking a life. This was highlighted in the discussion about actor Michael Chase, who was arrested for murdering his wife amidst mounting debts and financial troubles. The conversation also touched upon the potential consequences of overspending and buying beyond one's means, referencing the example of extravagant purchases leading to financial ruin. Additionally, the importance of saving and living within means was emphasized as a key strategy for managing wealth, especially for those in the entertainment industry.

    • Nostalgia and cherishing past experiencesNostalgia brings joy and meaning, cherish moments with loved ones, even seemingly insignificant ones can hold great value.
