25: X-Men: Children of the Atom (Part 1)

Richmond and James have an impromptu discussion after immediately after rolling the credits on the 2019 film On Gaku: Our Sound(音楽) written, directed and animated by Kenji Iwaisawa and based on the 2005 self-published manga - Ongaku to Manga by Hiroyuki Oohashi.

We return to being fans rather than creators. A year of renewal and rebirth. Richmond, Thomas and AJ take some time to talk about the things they legitimately enjoyed as a fan in 2023.

To discuss, we are joined again by special guest and film and game industry storyboard and concept artist, Jessie Lam (@axl99) currently a Principal Concept Artist at BrassLion and has worked with many huge games, studios and IPs such as Invincible, Gears of War 5, Skybound, The Coalition, Bandai Namco & EA among others. We each pick a favorite OVA to gush about. From Sol Bianca to to Bubblegum Crisis as well as M.D. Geist and Hellsing, its another fun episode where we enjoy a type of therapy about good animation.
