The 2016 Kidnapping Hoax Carried Out By Northern California Wife & Mother Sherri Papini.

On November 2, 2016 while out on a job, 34 year old Sherri Papini inexplicably went missing while on a jog.  When her husband Keith arrived home to find nobody there, he immediately began looking for Sherri.  Using the Find My iPhone app, he pinged her location, which showed her phone to be near their mailboxes.  He found Sherri's phone, her earbuds, some of her blonde hair, but no sign of Sherri.  For 22 days there was no word from Sherri, that is until she miraculously reappeared on Thanksgiving Day.  And what happened to Sherri remained a mystery until 2020 when DNA found on Sherri's clothing when she was found was matched to an old boyfriend of hers named James Reyes, who ended up confessing to that the whole thing was a hoax Sherri came up with because she was cheating on her husband and probably didn't like him very much if she was willing to go to the lengths she went to just to get a break from him.  This series will go over the recordings of the interview and interrogations that took place in the ensuing days and years...

On July 24, 2007, 2 men - Joshua Komisarjevsky and Steven Hayes - invaded the home of William and Jennifer Petit in the town of Cheshire, Connecticut.  Also in the home at the time were their Petit's two children, 17 year old Hayley and 11 year old Michaela.  Throughout the early morning hours, these men attacked William with a baseball bat and bound Jennifer and the daughters upstairs in their bedrooms while they ransacked the house.  Not finding what they were looking for - which was a large stash of cash - they decided to wait until morning to take Jennifer to the bank to withdraw money for them.  But at some point after the sun came up, the plan to burglarize the home turned into something much more sinister...

The 1986 Disappearance, Murder, & Gruesome Disposal Of Wife & Mother Of 3 Helle Crafts.

During one of the biggest storms to hit Newtown, Connecticut happened on the night of November 18, 1986 and it was called Storm Carl.  It knocked out power to parts of the city, including the home of Richard and Helle Crafts.  That same night Helle vanished without a trace?  Where could she have possibly gone the same night as Storm Carl?
