#27 - SEASON 2 BEGINS

It's been a little over a year since the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others. Drawing inspiration from the Mamba Mentality, Steve gets back in the booth to reflect on one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Over Christmas break, Brian and I had taken a three day vacation to Orlando for two days of Universal Studios and a day at Epcot and MGM.  On this episode we talk about the trip and dish out plenty of "Pro Tips" on navigating these massive parks.  There should be plenty here for you to nod along to if you're thinking about a future trip or have enjoyed it in the past.

Steve makes a return to the microphone, hopeful that he can get back on this podcast pony once and for all.  It's just him on this episode where he talks about his recent decision to quit smoking (15 months!) and a couple other myriad topics.  He asks that you please forgive a few extra "buts" and "ums" as he gets his brain back into podcast shape.  Thanks!

God, I love beer.  Nowadays there's increasingly more and more choices of what to drink.  On this show I brought in Brian Casse who I can basically sum up as a beer journalist.  He runs a beer blog (idrinkgoodbeer.com) and is constantly roaming the country trying to find and document the best suds around.  Brian brought a few pints of choice stuff for us to drink as we talk about the craft beer industry and how beer is awesome in general.  Crack a cold one and join us.

Hey everybody.  I went on a "vacation" to Denver last weekend to see old friends and I got a little more than I bargained for.  Through drinking and camping (in the legit wilderness) I definitely put myself through the ringer and in this episode, I recap all of that.  A couple near-death experiences out in the rocky mountains will make you appreciate life. All that said, I can't wait to get back out there again.  Place is a trip.

Last weekend I was at my buddy Matt Defranco's apartment to watch the Mayweather fight.  Before the main event we did this podcast where we strictly discuss rap/hip hop.  It's a love letter of sorts.  It's all about the start of how we got into the music.  A lot of talk about 90's and early 2000's hip hop, ya know, when rap was actually solid.  We even listen to an "auditory collage" of favorite moments of old rap songs at the start of the episode to get us (you) pumped on the convo.  Go on this trip straight through memory lane!
