324: Matt Goldich and No Questions Asked

Matt Goldich! Comedian! Writer! Friend! Delight! Guy with a new special out now!

We have a fun chat! You can have a fun listen! AND this is only the first half of our chat! For the second half (which is an even longer half, you know how sometimes one half is longer than another half), subscribe via Apple Podcasts OR head on over to Patreon by clicking right here right now!

More official information about the special? From his press release and bio? You got it!

In his debut stand-up special out February 13, "No Questions Asked", Matt Goldich hilariously tackles all the problems he faces in life, from to the everyday (raising kids in New York City, trying not to appear creepy online) to the societal (book bans, climate change) to the completely unimportant (the awkwardness of buying a coconut.)

As one reviewer said about Matt's comedy, "You might not remember the punchlines as much as you recall the life hack about checking a pineapple’s freshness, but you’ll have had a good time." (Still not sure
    if that's a compliment).

Matt Goldich is a longtime writer for Late Night with Seth Meyers. He has also performed stand-up on Late Night, and appeared in numerous sketches on the show as well. His stand-up has also been featured on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, as well as his album The Matt Goldich Guarantee, which is regularly featured on Sirius XM Radio. As a writer, Matt has also written for many other shows, including The Late Show with David Letterman, the Emmy Awards, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He has also won two Daytime Emmys, and been nominated for five Primetime Emmys and four Writers Guild of America Awards. He has also appeared on Comedy Central's @midnight and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

"He's so funny, I pay him to write me jokes!" - Seth Meyers

    "Original, hilarious" - Chortle

"A sharp joke writer" - The Comic's Comic
