The call to leadership should not be taken lightly, especially Godly leadership. Regardless of how we may see it, everything comes down to the choices or decisions we make. What's your focus as you walk into this work week? I pray that you won't be robbed, distracted, or taken by surprise with the things that the old enemy may throw at you. The busyness of life can sometimes seem to snuff out our hope of peace and joy, but the servant's heart moves forward with purpose. May the Lord grant you His vision in service this week so that His
blessings may flow, your purpose may become more evident, and that you can be reassured of His presence.

When we think of the beginning of the year,2020, we may remember all of the exciting messages that went out for what God had in store. Now that we are heading to the end of the year, we just can't help but notice that something doesn't match up. Senior Pastor of Fielder Church in Arlington, Texas, Jason Paredes stops by to encourage us to look upon God with an expectant heart, to remain optimistic and hopeful. God is still doing great things, so our perspective must open up if we are ever going to see His goodness! We all seem to look for the certainties and the assurances in the call of God. To be honest, we would probably much rather
hear from Him through a text or phone call. However, God does give us truths that we can fix our hearts upon so that we may continue moving forward in the right direction. One of the marks of a surrendered life is the desire to see it in others. Pastor Kevin Bailey has been redeemed in the Lord and has a burning desire to see others experience God in the same way that he has, if not more. A true servant of the Lord, he has found himself with an opportunity to serve others along the way. Discipleship, serving, and fellowship remains key to his heart as he finds himself in awe of what the Lord has done for him in his life. Giving our lives is truly the Christian way of life!

In life, we grow according to our own will and way. If we dare line it up to what the Lord has for us, we shall see a better day. It may not always seem as such right off, but God"s way will always prove to be beneficial. However, we seem to have a better way made up in our own minds when things aren't looking so good. It's in these times that we must avoid the same old way of doing things. Proverbs 26:11 says that a dog returns to his own vomit, and so a fool to his own folly.

In order to experience God in an unexplainable way, one just has to go and serve in an area that they may feel led. Our guest
today, Jim Hampton comes to share some of his own experiences in serving and what that has done for him over the years. God
has surely given him a brand new perspective on what discipleship truly means. Join us as Jim talks about the richness of serving
others in Christ.
