44: What We Can Do About Latina Equal Pay Day

    enOctober 04, 2023

    About this Episode

October 5th, 2023 is Latina Equal Pay Day. What does this mean? It means Latinas have to work until this date to earn what their white-male counterparts made in 2022. For Latinas this is 57 cents to the full dollar of pay for equal work.

In today's episode we talk through why this happens and what we can personally do to impact change.

Having recently given her two week notice, Walli has reached financial independence and is transitioning into her work option life. Walli shares what she did to reach this level of financial independence and how we can make steps towards taking back our time.
