6 things I'd Tell Myself 6 Years Ago, When I Started (Part 2)

This February's recap is short and sweet because the truth is... I didn't work all that much!

Despite it being a higher-than-average cash month (over $50k in cash), this was far from a "hustle" month for me. No big launches, my Mastermind remains closed and my private coaching remains full.

In this episode, I'm sharing the insights of a very AVERAGE month. I want to normalize that not every month or season needs to be about aggressive growth.

I also want to normalize that even in more low key seasons of life or business, you can still make more in a month than you used to in a year, with a strong strategy and passive products.

• Personal shares from my February; updates on parenthood, lifestyle changes to spending more time outside in Central Park each day than working, and some processing of grief.

• Behind-the-scenes of what I've been casually working on and what's been working well with sales done via DMs and improving funnels.

January was not the happiest month for me personally. However, even with a lot of gray and gloomy days, I was still able to find pockets of joy to escape the winter blues.

And, it was a month of seeing my business come through for me. It was still a month of wins.

I went to Florida multiple times, hosted a retreat, spent wonderful quality time with my family, and my business still grew. Moving forward this month, I have made adjustments for where I am in my life, and I will not be making a million dollars. And that's okay.

December was a month full of family, travel, and of course Holiday craziness. It was also a very successful month for my business.

I got to host clients at my retreat in New York City, we made nearly $80K in sales, and I was able to do all of this while being a full-time mom.

In the first episode of 2024, you'll hear:

• Adjustments that I made that still allowed me to have a high sale number
• How I was able to gain more clients after losing almost half

2023 wasn't the year of dramatic GROWTH for me, so much as it was the year of maintaining my success while doing less.

With my son turning two, this year we let go of our nanny so I could be with my son full time. I did this while still maintaining an average of $50k cash months and a 85% client retention.

• What worked well this year: the traveling that worked well, the client support and in-person experiences, prioritizing motherhood, and marketing systems that helped me scale.

Recapping September, the month I:

Ended childcare and took on motherhood full time, traveled to Paris, made $125k in sales, moved, and had an unexpected ER Visit.

A very full month of life that not only was supported by my business, but my business grew.

THAT is the real win.

Having a business with a sales strategy that's able to support me in all that life asks of me.

How did I build a business that does this?

Simple: I crafted a sales strategy that allowed it. With strategies like:

• Relationship-based nurturing

• Client retention strategies (this is huge)

• Visibility with paid and organic content

Sharing that I am now home with my son full-time, no longer having a nanny, while still running my business full time, honestly feels more rewarding than my business' first million-dollar year. I'm so excited to take you behind this journey in this podcast episode.
