    • Comedy and Offending PeopleComedians strive to make people laugh, not offend them, but intent is often overlooked and pushing boundaries can lead to controversy.

In the world of comedy, pushing boundaries and offending people can sometimes be a sign that you're on the right track. Daniel Tosh shares his experience of being criticized for his humor and how it led to an episode of SVU being inspired by him. He acknowledges that upsetting people is inevitable in this field, but it's important to remember that comedy is an agreement between the performer and the audience to have fun in a specific context. Intent is often overlooked, and comedians are not intending to offend in real life. Tosh emphasizes that he strives to make people laugh rather than to offend them. Despite the criticism, he continues to find humor in controversial topics, recognizing that not every joke will land with every audience.

Contrastingly, a CEO once made headlines for his altruistic decision to raise all his employees' salaries to at least $70,000 a year. However, his past relationships were described as abusive, leaving a complex and conflicting image of the man behind the generous gesture.

The experience we create for customers, whether it's in a coffee shop or a restaurant, can be just as important as the product or service we offer. The speaker shared stories from their experiences working at Starbucks and a bookstore, where they had to clean the toilets, and noted that the bookstore's toilet was particularly nasty due to the leisurely nature of the customers. However, they also shared a memorable experience at an Italian restaurant where the server, despite being from El Salvador, put on a convincing Italian performance that left the customers in awe. People often seek advice from those they perceive as experts in a particular area, even if that person may not see themselves in that light. This was evident in the discussion about a podcast where people came to a comedian for advice on the greatest games of all time. The comedian, who was insecure about his own body image, was surprised when others perceived him as handsome or impressive. It's important to remember that perception is not always reality, and it's essential to recognize and appreciate the strengths and abilities we have, even if we don't see them in ourselves. Additionally, the conversation touched on the theme of vanity and the lengths people go to present themselves in the best possible light, whether it's through grooming or self-deprecating humor. However, it's essential to find a balance and avoid excessive behaviors that could lead to dangerous consequences, such as alcohol poisoning or substance abuse. Ultimately, the goal is to help children develop the skills they need to make informed decisions and take responsibility for their actions.

Everyone has unique preferences and desires, whether it's in choosing treats for their children or their romantic attractions. However, it's important to avoid exclusion and be inclusive of all individuals. In the discussion, it became clear that having a preference for certain genitals doesn't make one transphobic. The issue arises when one excludes trans people based on their gender identity. It's essential to remember that everyone deserves respect and inclusion in all aspects of life, including sexual preferences and fantasies. The conversation also touched upon the importance of having a comfortable workspace, such as a good chair, when engaging in long podcasting sessions. Despite the unique charms and attractions of various cities, they all face common challenges and issues. The speaker expresses frustration with the grunginess and smell of Portland, the crowdedness and toughness of New York, and the chaos of Orlando's airport. This week, Tom Segura and Christina P have some new music tastes to talk about before opening the show with a guy who has a size question for all the ladies out there. They then show a video clip of their fully customized bathroom. This is the kinda guy ya gettin. Tom also plays a snippet from an old YMH episode where he predicts how his nose would turn out as an older man and then plays a clip of an old man senator having fun with some old timey words. Comedian and podcaster Ian Fidance joins the Main Mommies and he recently dropped a new comedy special "Wild, Happy & Free" which led to him filling out his childhood fantasy of being a ghostbuster and filming at the firehouse from the movie. Ian debates Tim and Kristin about his bisexuality, specifically the male kind, and determine if it's cap. They check-in with the Double Soul Shaman, check out Christina's new footwear choices, and play a quick would you rather, before getting into some of Christina's infamous TikTok curations. This week, Tom Segura and Christina P have Kate Moss on the brain and open up with a deep dive on the world famous model's personal life. They then open the show for real with a clip of a very cool guy introducing us to a very cool game he likes to play! Tom and Christina then go into gross things they don't like in the opposite sex and personal dealbreakers they each have. Comedian David Lucas joins the Main Mommies and he recently dropped a new comedy special Live From The Comedy Mothership. He's become a polarizing figure recently as well, stemming from material poking fun at BLM and George Floyd. But David embraces the controversy and believes that jokes and humor can help with grief rather than hurt. The man's got some interesting opinions for sure. Tom and Christina show David some clips featuring a really cool guy's favorite game, modern dating, and scatting (not what you think). They chat about Kevin Samuels, things missed in LA, and jump into some of Christina's curations! Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne is still feeling 'Inspired By The Blues'

Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne is still feeling 'Inspired By The Blues'
Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne has been releasing albums for over two decades, and playing music for over six. Yet he has no intention of slowing down, driven by inspiration and perspiration, the Blues Boss is fresh of the release of his 10th album "Inspired By The Blues". Kenny recalls his experiences growing up around music, first starting in the choirs of the churches his father preached in, then receiving influence from family members considered a bit more free spirited. To working with other musicians until he eventually began to develop his own voice and was convinced to try the blues, which he ended up being a natural at with his smooth voice and upbeat piano playing. Join the tiger and hear the journey of a young boy in America, who after many years ended up in west coast Canada, and ended up finding something special in a style of music he had never truly pursued before. Which eventually would earn him a spot in the Boogie Woogie Hall of Fame, a Juno award plus multiple nominations, as well as multiple "Piano Player of the Year" awards from various groups such as Maple Blues and Living Blues Magazine!
