    Podcast Summary

    • Redemptive Power of GodThe redemptive power of God can change our eternal destiny and bring healing to our lives, but we must fully devote ourselves to Jesus every day by ridding ourselves of negative traits and inspiring others to join us in the spiritual arena.

Through Alan Jackson Ministries, we are reminded of the redemptive power of God, which can change our eternal destiny and bring healing to our lives. This power goes beyond our physical existence and extends into the spiritual realm, where we are called to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. It's not enough to acknowledge Jesus only on weekends; our lives must be transformed by our faith every day. We must rid ourselves of malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander, as Peter instructs believers in 1 Peter 2. By doing so, we can honor the legacy of those who have gone before us, like Betty Jackson, and inspire others to join us in the spiritual arena. Our goal, as a ministry, is to spread God's truth and help people lead with their faith everywhere they go.

    • Spiritual growthCultivate a deep desire for spiritual growth and avoid complacency and worldliness to mature in our faith and become stable and effective in our walk with Christ

We must have a deep and persistent desire for spiritual growth, just as newborn animals instinctively seek nourishment. Peter encourages us to crave "pure spiritual milk" and grow up in our salvation, warning against complacency and worldliness in the church. By focusing on our own growth and maturity, rather than blaming external factors, we can become more stable and effective in our faith. As Ephesians 4:14 advises, we will no longer be tossed back and forth by teachings or deceitful schemes, but will instead grow up in Christ. So let us humbly ask the Lord for the grace to mature and grow in our faith.

    • Deepening relationship with GodSeek God's wisdom above temporary and worldly wisdom, strive for heart change through the power of the Holy Spirit, and remember God's ability to make the impossible possible

We should strive to deepen our relationship with God and seek His wisdom above the temporary and worldly wisdom that prevails in our current age. We are called to be different, not weird, but rooted in the objective truth of God. The deliverance we seek will not come solely from economic, political, or scientific systems, but ultimately from a change in the hearts of God's people through the power of the Holy Spirit. God has the ability to make the impossible possible and level the mountains in our lives. We must remember this vision and not lose sight of it amidst the sophistication and worldliness of modern society. The power of God, demonstrated through Jesus, is greater than any power available to us as human beings and can bring about healing, deliverance, and eternal change.

    • Redemptive power of GodEven in a broken world, the redemptive power of God can transform ordinary lives into something extraordinary through faith and an encounter with Jesus.

Even in the midst of a broken world, we can find the redemptive power of God to give our lives purpose and make a difference. Pastor Allen shared this message, inspired by his parents' ordinary lives that transformed into something extraordinary through their faith. An encounter with Jesus and a simple prayer changed their course, leading them to impact thousands of lives. This message is relevant now more than ever, as we are encouraged to read An Extraordinary Life and see how God can transform an ordinary life into something extraordinary. Despite the efforts to diminish the significance of nations, we can still make a difference for the kingdom of God, as Pastor Allen will continue to explore in his message, "A Change of Heart, Transformed Lives."

    • God's kingdom priorityOur devotion to God and His kingdom should be our highest priority, as citizens of His eternal kingdom, and we must not let anything come before it.

Our allegiance to the kingdom of God and our identity as Christ followers should be our highest priority, transcending any earthly citizenship or boundaries. Jesus made this clear when He told Pilate that His kingdom was not of this world, and He is the ultimate King. We must not let anything come before our devotion to Him, as we are all citizens of His eternal kingdom. The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, illustrates the power and authority of God and the consequences of opposing His will. The passage from Acts 13 shows the boldness of the apostles in proclaiming the gospel, even in the face of opposition, and the consequences for those who obstruct it. The prayer from Jonah serves as a reminder of our call to obedience and the consequences of disobedience. Ultimately, our allegiance to Jesus and His kingdom should unite us, rather than dividing us by worldly distractions.

    • Jonah's Change of HeartNo matter how far we stray from God, it's never too late for a change of heart. Jonah's story shows that even after disobeying God and facing consequences, one can repent and obey His call.

Key takeaway from the story of Jonah is that no matter how far we stray from God, it's never too late for a change of heart. Jonah disobeyed God, faced the consequences, and then had a profound realization of God's mercy. This led him to repent and obey God's call to Nineveh. The proclamation read during the broadcast encourages listeners to remember God in times of need and to be grateful for His grace and salvation. Additionally, the program mentioned the importance of Pastor Ellen's mother, Ms. Betty, and her book "An Extraordinary Life," which shares the miraculous story of her family's journey to faith and the impact they've had on the world. Overall, the message emphasizes the importance of staying close to God and trusting in His mercy and grace.

We Need A Savior - The Jesus People

We Need A Savior - The Jesus People

There is a God, and He has revealed Himself to us. While He has created us in His image, we are flawed and in need of a Savior. May it be said of us, first and foremost, that we are Jesus people who reflect the grace and mercy of Almighty God. But with grace comes responsibility, and as His people we have been given a season to pray and to act and to make possible the opportunities of God in the earth in a whole new way.

    We Need A Savior

    We Need A Savior

Our faith is not fundamentally about a moral code. Our faith is grounded in the notion that Almighty God is involved in the unfolding of human history and is the salvation of humanity. We were designed for a relationship with Him, and until we acknowledge Jesus as Savior there is a void within us. As our nation becomes more hostile to Christianity, we should pray for a revelation of Jesus that makes the truth welcome once again.
