Our guest this week has been a Legend in the Surf Scene for Decades. From shaping his first board at 17 years old, he now has 55 years of experience working with some of the world’s best Surfers. From his proprietary board designs of high performance shapes and specialized Big Wave Guns, he continues to push the evolution in board design, performance, and construction using sustainable materials and practices. He has also been a huge contributor to competitive surfing as a judge, former president of the ASP, and founder of The Big Wave World Tour. To this day he continues to be involved in organizing events and lending his commentary expertise at Big-Wave events each year! Tour. With multiple career victories including the prestigious 1984 Pipeline Masters! In
1985 he founded the Professional Surfing Association of America (PSAA) tour. But from
highs to lows, in just a few short years later, depression got the best of him. He hit
rock bottom. Soon after, he gave his life to Jesus Christ and he couldn’t believe that his
purpose in life was more than just winning Pipe Masters and that his Best has yet to
come!!! For the last has 30 years he has been balancing both careers as Coach for the
USA World Amateur Champion Team and others, as well as being a full-time Pastor, a
guest speaker, an author, and a mentor focusing on our youth! From being on the top
of Pro-Surfing, to opening Calvary Chapel Churches, to eventually starting his own
Church “Worship Generations” his story isn’t finished! We are beyond honored and

This stylish and accomplished ripper turned pro and eventually became the Surf Team Manager at Billabong and is to this day, regarded as one of the Best Team Managers to Date. At some point in his life he stopped surfing and moved out of state for 8 years, but he eventually moved back and reconnected to his surf roots and has been at HSS the last 18 years running the Surf Team and Surfboard Room with Mark Pesce SR. halftime and post games shows. He currently Co-Hosts a show with Petros Papadakis for the
last 18 years and is also the lead play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Chargers. We are
