I first shared this spell on TikTok after the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, but I figured it was high time to pull this spell out, update it, and talk about it here on the podcast. Let's release shame. Pleasure isn't just sex or happiness. You can transform the present moment with magick in our January 2024 tarot and oracle forecast.

Following the voted majority of a nature-based episode, I kept coming back to this idea of cocooning and going within, especially in this time. Winter naturally leads to cocooning, incubating, and insulating.

Although it is often talked about in a much more consumer or home-decor focus today, winter invites a retreat into the internal and the darkness. At the same time, winter allows the process of transformation to occur by initiating the death-cycles, the breakdowns, and the barrenness.

In this episode, we discuss the beautiful life-cycle of the butterfly, the process of self-metamorphosis, the journey of spiritual migration, and the unseen magick in the chrysalis.

We are following the continuing series, and narrative, of the tarot by looking at each card. We started with the Fool, and now we move on to the Magician. This is one of my favorite cards for so many reasons, all of which we get into in the episode.
