Politics and the movie business in Mallorca.

Happy New Year... again, Chinese one this time. Palma celebrates the year of the rabbit.

It's been snowing, a bit, and some bicycling happened.

..... and we have a chat to the endlessly fascinating Paul Abrey. Former British Consul to the archipelago, now a big cheese in the movie business at Palma Pictures.

.... and sad news to report the passing of long time Mallorca resident Donald Trelford, Former editor of the Observer, and in his later years a regular contributor to the Majorca Bulletin. A life well lived, have a read of a couple of obituaries.
