How to make a profit with laser hair removal

How to make a profit with laser hair removal

Today’s podcast was inspired from a quote I read online. It said.

    "Dear small business owner,

Just because it’s out of their price range does not mean it’s overpriced.  You have to make a profit or you don’t have a business!"

you are allowed to make a profit and to have a successful business you have to make a profit.  Lately there has been alot of talk about laser hair removal treatments and the reasons that the prices are being driven down.  How do you compete with a spa that has "cheap" prices?  Listen in :)

Actionable Ways to Bring Clients In- Part two of three

This is part two of a three part series entitled "Actionable Ways to Bring Clients In".  Part one was how to gain clients in a very short period (30 days and under).Sometimes it is necessary to have strategies that bring in clients quickly but it is a lot of work for you and very reactive.  The clients who respond to last minute sales are not always the long term clients you are looking for. Today's episode we will discuss some strategies that will bring in clients that we can do over a 3-6 month period. Next week we will complete the series when we discuss long term strategies to gain client over a one year time frame and longer.

We discuss strategies for social media, gaining reviews and creating newsletters to bring in clients and keep them for the long term.

Actionable Ways to Bring Clients in- Part one of three

Many entrepreneurs fail to get customers because they simply believe that people will come to them just because they have opened a business. This is simply not true and a quick path to closing your doors.

Today we will begin a new series called Actionable ways to bring in clients. It will be split into three parts

Part 1- FAST ways to get clients in.  This is today’s topic and we will go over strategies to bring clients in quickly in less than 30 days

Part 2 will be how to gain clients in a in 6-12 months timeframe.  This will be next Monday’s podcast.

And finally part 3 – how to gain clients with a long term strategy 12 months and longer.  Part three will be broadcast in two weeks.

When you don't charge enough for your services

When you don't charge enough for your services

We are all afraid to charge too much for our services.  We are worried that if we are too expensive then clients won't come to us. In this episode we discuss what happens when you don't charge enough for your services.

How do we justify charging more for seemingly the same service from somewhere else? Because you are not the same.  You have different education, different experience, different connections with your clients and different training.

When you don't charge enough you cannot afford to pay for marketing

you can't afford to have a sale

you can't afford to get advanced training

you can't afford to purchase quality supplies

you can't afford to pay yourself

Two ways to attract new clients

Two ways to attract new clients

Is your business ready, prices set, retail on the shelves, insurance, website, social media done? Sounds perfect- what could be missing? Clients. The biggest mistake that new business owners make is assuming that clients will come flocking in once you open your doors.  Not that long ago you were able to place an ad in your local newspaper saying you are starting a new business and clients would show up.  Why? because advertising was limited to a few places and most people got their information from those places.  Those times are long gone.

Today’s client is sophisticated, inundated with ads coming from all directions and overwhelmed with options. There are influencers, product placement in movies and tv shows, and celebrities pushing their own beauty lines.  How do we compete with that?

In this episode we look at two ways to gain new clients:

    1) We look at the client's pain points and break them down.

    2) We  ask the clients for their opinions and feedback

Seem simple? It can be but doing this properly can gain you followers and new clients.  Best thing is the clients you attract are your ideal clients!

How to treat clients who have had bad experiences elsewhere

How to treat clients who have had bad experiences elsewhere

How to treat clients who have had bad experiences elsewhere

We have all had bad experiences in the past.  How do you deal with clients in your spa or salon who were traumatized by past experiences elsewhere? Listen to some personal stories from myself as well as some of our clients and how to overcome these negative memories.

Our spa is known for being body positive because I never want clients to feel like I have felt in other places.  Being a plus sized provider I can relate to clients feeling insecure coming in for treatments.

Seven ways to help clients have a better experience with you:

    1. Empathize
    2. Be gentle and walk them through the appointment
    3. Ask your client what made their past experience terrible so you can learn from it
    4. Listen and acknowledge
    5. Check in during and after the appointment
    6. Never berate another business
    7. Deliver above and beyond

Invest in yourself with mentorship, business coaching and advanced training.  Be the best version of yourself and the best in your field.

With our business Rosegold Learning we train and will soon be offering a mentorship program.  Follow us at @rosegoldlearning on IG and FB or send an email to info@rosegoldlearning.com for more info.

How to earn 100k from waxing

How to earn 100k from waxing

Because waxing has high margins and low overhead expenses, it is one of the most lucrative personal services. In this episode we talk about how to earn more per hour.

We talk about investing in your education whether that is at a trade show such as the IECSC, taking extra training to hone in on your niche.  We discuss the difference between a business coach and a mentor.  See below how to reach us for these services.

knowing your numbers.  How much do you currently earn per service and how long do they take to complete?  You can increase the amount of money you make per hour by deleting a low valued service, increasing your pricing or reducing the time it takes to complete the service.

Provide the very best customer experience with each appointment. Your clients come to see you.  What you charge for your service is secondary compared to the connection they have with you.  Nurture your clients and keep them referring others to you and coming back for their appts.

If you would like more info about how to get to 100k (or more!) through business coaching or mentorship please contact us at info@rosegoldlearning.com.
