    Maverick Rodriguez

    Maverick Rodriguez

What an HONOR it was to be seated in the presence of Maverick Rodriguez (@maverickxrodriguez) for this very special episode of Extra..Ordinary. From getting her team's ass kicked by Maverick's team in basketball, to thinking he hated her existence, Taylore has a long list of things to go over. As a transgender individual, Maverick wastes no time shedding his skin and speaking on his experiences with finding his identity throughout his life, even through hardships and the bullshit that is High School. Taylore and Maverick dive into their shared childhood experiences of being in the Gifted and Talented program, school bullies, and Maverick's, seemingly out of nowhere, show-stopping audition for a high school play their junior year. As two people who have grown and evolved since they first met in second grade, they discuss how nice it is to re-meet each other in the Now as the human beings they've become, rather than the ones they used to be.

*This episode has no intro and no Tay's Faves. Taylore thought that because this episode is so informative and important for the world to hear, her narratives aren't the voice that needs to be the loudest here.*

    Holly A. Stone

One of the MOST requested guests from Season One is finally here in the passenger's seat! Holly A. Stone (@thehosto1221)  / Stone / Mom / Drama Llama/ Holly / Ms. Stone, (whatever name you assign her) sits down with Taylore after 3 years of seeing each other only through social media to catch-up on life. She tells the story of how she came to love theatre, and what made her choose the path of becoming a director. Stone reminisces about the years spent being Taylore's high school theatre director, competing with her and her classmates in the World's Largest One Act Play Competition, funny mishaps,  and how difficult it was to move on from a school she built up such a program at.  Taylore confesses how much of an influence Stone had on her life as an artist and a human. Her life wouldn't be the same without meeting her as a frail shell of a freshman.
