    Voice of the Griz Riley Corcoran has been on the road for nearly a month between the longest Montana men's hoops road trip in 17 years and Griz football's trip to the FCS national title game. 

    On January 4, he caught up with Colter Nuanez of Skyline Sports a day after the passing of legendary Montana football coach Don Read, who passed away at 90 on Jan. 3. 

    Corcoran also was in Fargo, North Dakota to call Montana's 96-86 win over North Dakota State in men's hoops on Jan. 3. Corcoran talks with Skyline Sports about Papa Bear, Griz Hoops and of course, Griz football's FCS national title game against South Dakota State on Sunday Jan. 7, 2024.

    Montana head coach Bobby Hauck will coach the Griz in the FCS national title game for the fourth time in his career in the 8th appearance overall for UM. 

    On Tuesday January 2, Hauck addressed the media before the first January practice in Griz football history (the last seven title games UM played in were played in December) as his team prepared to leave for Frisco, Texas to take on No. 1 South Dakota State, the defending national champions.
