Comedian Andrew Santino will be performing in Boston, Massachusetts, on New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve Eve, and fans can purchase tickets on his website, andrewsantino.com. Additionally, Bad Friends merchandise, including shirts and mugs, is available for purchase on the site. During a podcast episode, co-hosts Rudy Jewell and Kalila Coon had a humorous exchange about miscommunication and the challenges of pronunciation and understanding of names. Rudy had mistakenly thought an event was on a different day, leading to some comedic banter. The conversation also touched on the topic of Kalila's younger sister, who is described as a genius and a "gay awakening" character, but her gender identity and pronouns are still being determined. The podcast episode showcases the dynamic and lighthearted chemistry between the co-hosts.

    • Expressing Pronouns and Personal Information in IntroductionsClear communication and trust are crucial in relationships, whether discussing pronouns or personal health concerns. Hiding information can lead to misunderstandings and accusations.

Expressing your pronouns is a suggestion, not a requirement, during introductions, whether in person or online. This topic was discussed alongside an unexpected revelation about a candidate for Orange County Congress, Michelle Steele, who has publicly expressed her dislike for China. The conversation then shifted to a personal anecdote about a friend, Jules, who chose not to disclose information about a potential health concern, leading to accusations of dishonesty. The group also discussed various health conditions, including psoriasis and ingrown hairs, and the potential panic that can arise when these conditions appear near sensitive areas. While some may view these situations as insignificant, they highlight the importance of clear communication and trust in relationships.

    • Speaker's anxiety over potential STDDespite using protection, a skin rash caused fear and anxiety for the speaker, later identified as a common fungus. Frustration over youth culture borrowing fashion trends added to their distress.

A skin rash, which resembled a sexually transmitted disease, caused the speaker intense anxiety and fear, despite using protection during sexual activity. The rash was later identified as a skin fungus that is typically transmitted sexually due to its proximity to the genital area. The speaker spiraled for several days, fearing the possibility of it spreading, and was ultimately relieved when it was treated with a cream and a pill. The speaker also expressed frustration over younger generations stealing fashion trends from their generation, including low-rise jeans and brands like Stussy.

    • Women's Extreme Fashion Choices and the Discomfort They EndureWomen face discomfort for fashion, from electrical tape to thongs, and seek alternatives like menstrual cups for health reasons, despite challenges in use.

Women's fashion choices and the discomfort they often endure for them can be extreme. The discussion revolves around a campaign where models wore electrical tape over their bodies, causing skin issues like contact dermatitis and ingrown hairs. The women's suffering for fashion is not new, as they've long endured the discomfort of thongs and the risk of yeast infections. The idea of a "pussy juicecatcher" or a more comfortable alternative was suggested, leading to a conversation about menstrual cups. While some women find menstrual cups easier and healthier, others find the insertion process challenging. Despite the challenges, many women opt for menstrual cups over tampons due to health concerns, such as the potential toxicity of bleached cotton and the risk of toxic shock syndrome. The conversation also touched on the interesting behavior of one speaker's dog, who seemed drawn to the speaker's menstrual cycle. Overall, the discussion highlights the lengths women go to for fashion and the discomforts they endure, as well as the potential health benefits of alternative menstrual products.

    • People and their pets have unique preferencesPeople and their pets exhibit quirky behaviors and preferences, such as dogs liking dirty clothes and writers disliking the writing process.

People and their pets have unique preferences and behaviors. During a conversation, a man shared an amusing anecdote about how his dogs, particularly Julio and Gobi, have a fondness for his dirty running shorts, which they seem to enjoy due to the scent of his sweat. This behavior is not limited to his dogs, as he has observed similar tendencies in other dogs and even in humans. The man also shared an experience where he proudly defended his wife during an argument with a friend, demonstrating loyalty and support. The conversation also touched upon the man's friend Bobby, who is a writer but dislikes the writing process, preferring to have his work created for him. The discussion ended with the man expressing surprise and amusement over a video of a man rolling in and tearing apart a pair of bloodstained panties post-workout. Overall, the conversation showcased the quirks and idiosyncrasies of people and their pets, as well as the importance of standing up for loved ones.

    • Understanding Unusual Markets and Consumer BehaviorCater to diverse markets, embrace unique preferences, and manage growth with tools like ShipStation and mental health support from BetterHelp.

People have unique preferences and are willing to pay for unusual items online. From the discussion, we learned about individuals selling used panties and socks to dogs, and one person making $20 a month from selling dirty socks. While some may find this odd, it highlights the importance of catering to diverse markets and understanding consumer behavior. Additionally, the conversation touched upon the significance of being prepared for business growth, as demonstrated by the use of ShipStation for managing multiple sales platforms. Lastly, the value of mental health support, such as BetterHelp, was emphasized as a crucial tool for personal growth and problem-solving.

    • The importance of fresh socks during travel and performancesThe speaker emphasizes the significance of having fresh socks, sharing a personal experience of encountering a crew member with questionable foot odor. The conversation also touches on various unrelated topics, showcasing the speaker's unique perspective and sense of humor.

The speaker values the importance of having fresh socks during travel and performances, while also expressing his opinion about the supposed foot odor of certain individuals in their crew. The conversation also touched on various topics including the approval of interracial relationships, the realization of celebrity connections, and the light-hearted teasing of a local news segment. The speaker's fascination with the idea of witches harvesting children for blood sacrifices led to a discussion about a woman's infrequent blinking, which he interpreted as a sign of evil. Overall, the conversation showcases the speaker's unique perspective and sense of humor.

    • Strong Opinions on Women's Roles, Media Representation, and Kanye WestThe speakers share their disdain for a woman focusing on mundane tasks, criticize non-traditional media representations, and express agreement on Kanye West's actions while maintaining inconsistent views.

The speaker expresses strong opinions about various topics, including a woman's role at home, representation in media, and Kanye West's actions. They criticize a woman for focusing too much on mundane tasks and express disdain for the idea of non-traditional representations in classic stories. They also discuss their dislike for certain aspects of media, such as Disney Plus and Hocus Pocus 2, and share anecdotes about supposedly inappropriate content in children's movies. Regarding Kanye West, they express agreement with Charlamagne's perspective on his actions and beliefs, but it's unclear if they hold a consistent stance on the issue. Overall, the conversation showcases strong opinions and a critical view of various aspects of media and society.

    • The Implications of Controversial ContentConsidering the potential impact of producing or consuming controversial content is essential. It can lead to artistic expression and appreciation, but also cause harm and offense to marginalized communities.

The production and consumption of controversial content, such as merchandise with offensive slogans or media portraying real-life criminals, can have complex implications. On one hand, it can lead to artistic expression and appreciation for the work of talented individuals, like actor Evan Peters in the Netflix series "Dahmer." On the other hand, it can cause harm and offense to marginalized communities, such as the Asian community with the "White Lives Matter" shirt or the LGBTQ+ community with the portrayal of a serial killer in their subcategory. It's important to consider the potential impact of our choices and engage in open dialogue about these issues. Additionally, there were separate discussions about a court settlement involving design theft, a serial killer in Stockton, and Kanye West's music. The serial killer case involved a 46-year-old black woman being the only known survivor of the shooter, who has killed at least 6 people. The settlement mentioned was not explicitly connected to the other topics in the conversation.

    • Filipino Warrior Lapu Lapu Surprised and Defeated Magellan's FleetDespite his small stature, Lapu Lapu, a Filipino warrior, made a significant impact in history by defeating Magellan's fleet in 1521

During the time of Magellan's expedition, a Filipino warrior named Lapu Lapu was able to defeat the Spanish fleet by surprising them and killing their leader, Magellan. Lapu Lapu was described as being small, possibly a midget, but this didn't hinder him from making a significant impact in history. The discussion also touched upon the perception of people's appearance in the past and how they were not as aesthetically pleasing as present-day standards. The reason for this could be due to various factors such as lack of knowledge about self-care and nutrition. Additionally, the conversation included a side note about holding in farts and their potential health effects, which can result in discomfort and the release of gas through burping.

    • The Complexities of Friendship and Personal PreferencesFriendship dynamics can be complicated by personal preferences and romantic attraction, but platonic friendships are valuable and using services like DoorDash can provide practical needs and community support.

Men and women can find themselves in complicated situations when it comes to friendship. During the discussion, the speakers touched upon the topic of personal preferences and the impact they can have on relationships. For instance, some people might prefer enduring a smelly burp over intense pain, while others might prioritize supporting their community through services like DoorDash. However, the conversation took an unexpected turn when the topic of gender and friendship came up. The speakers debated whether men and women could truly be just friends, with some arguing that the presence of romantic attraction inevitably complicates the dynamic. Despite the differing viewpoints, they acknowledged that platonic friendships are possible and valuable. Additionally, the discussion highlighted the convenience and community benefits of using DoorDash for various errands and meal options. By ordering from DoorDash, individuals not only receive the items they need, but also contribute to supporting their local communities and businesses. In conclusion, the conversation shed light on the complexities of human relationships and the importance of understanding personal preferences and the potential impact of romantic attraction. It also emphasized the value of platonic friendships and the benefits of using services like DoorDash for practical needs and community support.

    • Exploring Sexual Boundaries with FriendsCommunication is key in navigating complex human relationships, including the potential for sexual exploration with friends. It's important to be open and honest to avoid misunderstandings and maintain healthy relationships.

The dynamics of friendships and romantic attraction can be complex and potentially confusing. The speaker in this conversation expresses her curiosity about the possibility of sexually exploring her relationships with friends, particularly male friends. She acknowledges that this could potentially ruin friendships, as men may be more inclined to pursue sexual encounters when presented with the opportunity. However, she also notes that women may downplay their feelings and try to maintain a cool exterior, especially when young. The speaker ultimately decides against pursuing this exploration, but the conversation highlights the intricacies of human relationships and the potential for misunderstandings and unexpected emotions. It's important to communicate openly and honestly with friends and partners to avoid misunderstandings and maintain healthy relationships.

    • Finding joy in old interests and considering sugar relationshipsPeople can find joy in past interests, even if they seem outdated, and some may consider sugar relationships for companionship, but emotional complexities can arise.

Despite the passage of time and potential loss of interest, people can still find enjoyment in things they once enjoyed, even if they seem outdated or childish to others. The conversation also touched on the topic of sugar relationships, where one person provides financial support to another in exchange for companionship. The speakers discussed their willingness to consider such arrangements, but acknowledged the emotional complexities involved, particularly for those seeking companionship due to personal loss or sadness. The Conscious Relationship: Time is Precious

Living in a conscious relationship means putting in the time and effort that it deserves. Our relationships should not be a source of constant frustration or anxiety as we have enough of that in our world. Quality time with our relational partners over the years builds strong bonds of emotional intimacy. It is this intimacy that fulfills many attachment needs that we all have.

When needs are not being met, that can cause people to act out verbally and nonverbally so an examination of our relationship is in order. Quality time is the perfect way to block out distractions and focus on maintaining the relationship to optimal levels. We want to be sure all needs are being met, and we are both living fulfilling lives inside the relationship.

S02.E03 - How do I out serve her

In this episode (How do I out serve her), I wrap my conversation with a friend, who's been married for 5 years, and examine his journey towards marriage and how he and his wife have navigated challenging times.

We discuss service leadership in a relationship and the mentality to out serve your partner. We talk about the roles and responsibilities in the household and the importance of having a partner that will hold you accountable. We debate the perception of the term “head of household” and why it might be outdated. I inquire about creating space for your wife to find and have a voice in the relationship. We go deep on how to balance the business of the relationship with the romance in the relationship. We end the conversation around the idea of maturity, what that means, and the importance of time management to balance areas we invest our energy in.
