Life happens. Healing is ours for the choosing. We’ve all been hurt by other people, we’ve brought pain on ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some kind of “hurt, hang-up, or habit”. Where do we go from here?

Amanda Valantine is back for her weekly episode of the Hope Worth Repeating podcast. In this episode, she is discussing John Baker’s book, "Life’s healing Choices: Freedom from Your Hurts, Hang-Ups, and Habits."

Amanda shares of a spiritual awakening in author, John Baker’s life. After he felt God lead him to Alcoholics Anonymous for his own fight as a “functional alcoholic,” he saw an opportunity to bring support to churches by founding Celebrate Recovery in 1991. Now he is sharing the principles of Celebrate Recovery in this hope-filled and practical book that will help you see a light at the end of the tunnel.
