    About this Episode

Before we hear "A Christmas Carrol," we'll listen to our weekly dose of Navy Lark.  Troutbridge has been commissioned to take guests to the South Pole.  Question is does Mr. Philipps know where south is?  The next two episodes contain two very different Christmas themed discussions.  Enjoy.

531 Farewell For The Forseeable Future

This podcast has been long overdue, and we finally realized it was time to publish it when it had been almost a year since we've published and with no guilt or pangs of remorse with everything else going on we felt now was the time to step back.  We explain in great detail why.  The show will remain open so listeners can checck past episodes.  Farewell and godspeed.  .

    530 the great relaunch

    530 the great relaunch

This is the week we finally relaunch.  There's a  bit of disscussion in the beginning about Matt's long absence and then we'll dive right back in whefre we left off.  With Navy Lark, that means right back to Series 12 and we leaarn what happens when Troutbridge winds up in Shanghai, rather then Shankley and what happens when an old flame enters Povy's office.  Then it's off to London late 1890s as we continue our look at The Casebook Of Sherlock Holmes and The Three Garadebs.  enjoy.

    529 Farewell To Narnia

    529 Farewell To Narnia

It feels like the end of an era, not for Brunch but for Narnia.  We've done it along with an hour's worth of Navy Lark, that because this episode was actually recorded last winter I can't remember but fear not.  Brunch is relaunching and I'll have more details on that soon!  Meanwhile enjoy this.

    528 the last battle

    528 the last battle

This week we return with a good long brunch to end the holidays.  We begin with an hour of Navy Lark in which we learn about who can grow a beard faster between Commander Murray and Sub LT Philips then it's strange radio signals that HMS Troutbridge has to figure out.  We continue then with I'm Sorry I'll Reaad That Again and their New Year's Eve 1970 special featuring Dr. Chivago.  Then it's back to Narnia and Part 1 of The Last Battle.  Enjoy.

523 cat on a hot tin roof

523 cat on a hot tin roof

This week as we do our annual July tribute to America, we feature Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, as our play.  We also begin Notes From A Small Island and enjoy rather endearingly Bill Bryson's look at Britain from his American perspective.  There's a little extra fun with Navy Lark and we are still working through I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again this time in which Lady Constance is hunted like a fox.  Enjoy.

    522 dawn treader concludes

    522 dawn treader concludes

This week we conclude The Voyage Of The Dawntreader.  But first we open with Navy Lark, in which CPO Pertwy makes magic with a fruit machine, then Matt Cox and John Lingard talk Prince Philip, his life, his legacy, tv, soccer, church postpandemic cCalifornia and anything else they hit.  It's a fun summer jaunt with John and we thank him and hope you enjoy it.  We then have I'm Sorry I'll Read That AGain in which the prunes make fun of Henry VIII and we then conclude The Voyage of The Dawntreader.  Thanks to Julianne and Joseph and a happy first to Julieanne and Joseph.  Enjoy.  brunchwiththebrits@gmail.com
