    About this Episode

For our 13th Episode of our podcast series we present to you a mix from up and coming Belfast based DJ & producer Cromby. He is only 20 year old and is already steadily cementing a reputation for himself as a consistent purveyor of quality house music. Holding down a residency at Belfast institution, The Stiff Kitten and setting the tone with his warm up slots for international powerhouses such as Kerri Chandler shows that Cromby knows his onions. His productions consist of raw house works that lend a keen nod to evident Chicago sound he loves so much. The acclaim isn't solely coming from the dancefloor however, with BBC Radio One picking up on Chris as one to watch. Recent releases on Extended Play have been getting major props from the likes of Feel My Bicep, setting the precedent for remixes on Tom Budden's 'Alive' imprint and Assembly Records aswell as more original material in the pipeline too. Alongside his residency Cromby tour dates are flooding in! We think it's safe to say Cromby is a name you are going to be hearing a lot more of. BSU 017 - Ajukaja (Porridge Bullet)
For our 17th episode in the series we bring you a mysterious entity known as Ajukaja. This is the complex alias of Tallinn based multi-talented Raul Saaremets. This relatively new project focuses on underground electronic music, which in the last twenty years has been the centrifuge of his existence. Depending who's listening, Ajukaja's style encapsulates dark, captivating melodies spliced with the kind of quirkiness for which he is starting to become renowned for. As a true technology freak his passion remains to create and modify different instruments and come out with something that can only be described as otherworldly. This mix is nothing short of brilliant, blending extraordinary electronica with the finest deep house cuts of the last few years. A real aural pleasure! With releases on Red Rack'em's new Smuggles Inn label and a remix for his Hot Coins disco alias the future is looking bright for this cat, we look forward to witnessing what he has to offer! BSU 015 - Groove Chronicles
Next up in our ever growing podcast series we have one of the stalwarts of the UK Garage scene, Noodles AKA Groove Chronicles. Originally forming in the heyday of the UK Garage scene, Groove Chronicles was an original project formed between Noodles & El-B in 1996. After El-B decided to pursue a solo career in 1999, Noodles took the reigns and continued to stick with his roots and keep the Groove Chronicles sound alive and thriving. Noodles also runs the fantastic DPR Recordings which quickly established itself as a vanguard of garage music releasing a series of sublime tracks such as the seminal 'Stonecold/Blackpuppet 12". This release is widely regarded to this day as one of the creative watermarks in the UK Garage scene. The mix blends old UK & US garage with a cheeky mixture of house thrown in for good measure. These were the kind of vibes heard back in the day, with on the fly vinyl mixing and full on vibes through and through. Being one of our favourite artists in the last 15 years of UK music, we are truly honoured to get our hands on this absolute beast of a mix!
