Fintan meets the world's oldest Hawk

In this story, which is part 2 of the 2 part story of Fintan, we hear how the oldest and greatest Seannachie or Story-teller of Ireland, Fintan meets his end. Before he does however, he meets the world's oldest Hawk, an old friend never before seen, and they share their life histories.

Anne has graciously allowed us to use three pieces for Fintan's Harp in this tale. Sorrow upon sorrow as the seven lonely knights return to Anglesey with their dying King...

After a great tragedy, the last surviving Seven Men go on towards Harlech in deep sorrow only to discover that the realm of Caradawg has suffered injury while they were away. They hear of the Battle of the Dancing Sword at which many nobles died.

Nissien and Efnissien arrive home from Rome and Efnissien discovers that the marriage between Branwen and the Irish King Matholwch has been arranged without his knowledge or presence. He feels he has suffered a great insult and exacts a most horrific revenge.
