    About this Episode

The Indianapolis Colts paddled their way to San Francisco, to take on the 49ers, in a water logged game week 7 of the 2021 NFL season.

The Colts were lead by Carson Wentz, Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr, and Darius Leonard, as they put away a VERY sloppy game, in a storm called a Cyclone Bomb & Atmospheric River, late in the 4th quarter.

    Indianapolis Colts Free Agency: Quarterbacks

    Introducing the free agency series

Colts need to fill a Quarterback spot, with only Anthony Richardson and Sam Ehlinger on the roster.

Indianapolis will not be looking at players who are expecting big money.

    Gardner Minshew: Colts

    Ryan Tannehill: Titans

    Jacoby Brissett: Commanders

    Tyrod Taylor: Giants

I would not want Marcus Mariotta, Sam Darnold, or Drew Lock, and others.

    Tyler Huntley: Ravens.

    Joe Flacco: Browns?

You need to be semi-mobile and a decent arm strength to take advantage of Shane Steichen's play design's.

Bringing back Carson Wentz would be very controversial.

Indianapolis Colts approach to 2024 Free Agency?

Indianapolis Colts approach to 2024 Free Agency?

Let's try to figure out how Indianapolis Colts General Manager: Chris Ballard will approach this.

There are too many in-house players that need re-signed, to spend big outside the organization.

He'll probably spend mid money on a veteran secondary player.

Where he feels he can get a top player at pick 15, could determine where he spends on a free agent.

Probably not much movement at linebacker.

Gardner Minshew will probably be the top target for back-up quarterback again.

I seriously doubt the Colts sign a big name Wide Receiver, and here is why:

The running back position might get a low money free agent.

The Tight End room is still very talented, and it wasn't their fault the production wasn't there.

There might be a pick-up for a back-up offensive lineman.

San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Brock Purdy has been impressive his first 2 seasons.

Patrick Mahomes' X-factor, won't let me be comfortable picking the 49ers to win.

The Chiefs have to contain the 49ers running system.

San Fran has to keep Mahomes completely uncomfortable all game.

Force someone other than Travis Kelce to step up.

Texans Colts Review (End of NFL Season)

Texans Colts Review (End of NFL Season)

Should the 4th and 1 pass went to Goodson, or should have Jonathan Taylor been out there?

1 play, 75 yards, and a touchdown, set the tone for the Texans right out the gate.

Colts Quarterback Gardner Minshew had some bad passes, and wide receivers had a lot of drops.

C.J. Stroud looked comfortable, for the most part of the game.

The Indianapolis Colts were fortuitous, and fought hard all season, to end like that.

There is a lot of positives to take from the season.

Indy has had very bad luck with kick returners, the past year.

This season was not completely wasted for Anthony Richardson.

Texans at Colts Preview (Win and In!)

Texans at Colts Preview (Win and In!)

Initial thoughts of the Houston Texans visiting the Indianapolis Colts, Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season.

Houston's injury report is pretty eye opening.

Indy's injury report looks better, they seem to be getting healthier.

C.J. Stroud has the team on his shoulders this week.

These defenses for the Colts and Texans play very differently on the back end.

But the front 4 of these teams are quite similar, they both set the tone for their teams.

Shane Steichen can't hold anything back.

The coaches have to get the players to believe in their strategy this week.

Home field advantage could help out, if Colts fans play their part.

Texans run defense is REALLY good. But don't give up on the run if it is not there immediately.

Indianapolis Colts Handle the Las Vegas Raiders.

Indianapolis Colts Handle the Las Vegas Raiders.

Initial reaction to the Indianapolis Colts handling the Las Vegas Raiders week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.

The Colts had control of the entire game, despite the stats and final score.

Indy needs to cut out those plays that give the other teams momentum(Like E.J. Speed's penalty).

Despite the stats, the Colts secondary did well overall versus Devante Adams, and the Raiders offense.

Gardner Minshew has protected the football the past 5 games.

Braden Smith proved how good he really is, even when not at 100%.

Raiders at Colts Preview (HUGE Opportunity!)

Raiders at Colts Preview (HUGE Opportunity!)

The Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders are on very different trajectories.

Colts get back Michael Pittman Jr. and Braden Smith! Both huge for the upcoming matchup!

Andrew Ogletree arrested for a domestic violence felony charge.

Raiders will not have their number 1 tight end, and probably without Josh Jacobs!

Indy are favorites to win, even though Maxx Crosby has been devastating this season.

The defense needs to play much better, especially with tackling, in order to win.

Aidan O'Connell is a rookie Quarterback, and has played like one.

Devante Adams has not been the best receiving option for the Raiders in my opinion.

The offensive line has got to open up some run lanes for Jonathan Taylor.

Getting important players back changed my opinion on the outcome.

    Game prediction!
