COMMENTARY CLUB 090 - The Bubble
For our crap movie selection, we are watching an all-star cast go to hell in a hand-basket in Judd Apatow's pandemic misfire The Bubble (2022)
It's cult film time again, and this time we are back to the 1980s for a slice of Arnie sci-fi action! For our traditional wildly inappropriate movie for Valentine's Day this year, we picked a romantic comedy... from Tommy Wirkola, director of the Dead Snow films! The Trip (2021) has Noomi Rapace and Aksel Hennie as a couple off for a romantic break where they plan to kill each other!
For our cult movie selection, we are sticking with kaiju movies, and revisiting Gamera: Guardian of the Universe (1995), the first movie in of the Heisei series for Godzilla's great rival monster!
First show of a new year and we are looking at an all-time classic - the original King Kong from 1933!

In this festive minisode, we take a trip to the benighted town of Royston Vasey for the League of Gentlemen Christmas Special from 2000
For our classic movie for December we have gone for new festive favourite Klaus, a 2019 animated feature giving us a truly magical alternative take on the origins of Santa Claus.
For our crap film choice, as it is December, we are revisiting infamous Santa slasher Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2! Why not Part 1? Well, because this film is so cheap half of it is Part I repackaged!
"We're Young Ones. Bachelor boys! Crazy, mad, wild-eyed, big-bottomed anarchists!"
In this episode, we reach the final ever episode of The Young Ones - term has finished, their courses ended, what will the boys do now...
