So awesome to get a chance to chat with Andrea Stanley of Valley Malt They are a Female owned and operated Malt House out of Holyoke Massachusetts that creates numerous malt varieties for breweries, distilleries, flour for home or commercial bakers. They even make their own specialty pasta blends! They launched Girl Power Pilsner a custom Malt that is often used in beers across the country by the Pink Boots Society among others  in celebration of International Women's Day . We got a chance to catch up with Sarah from Hot Plate Brewing Company . Super cool spot in the city of Pittsfield Mass nestled right next to the Berkshire Mountain range. Sarah and Mike have perfect symmetry in the operation of thier family owned brewery.  Sarah does all of the brewing and production, and Mike does all the social media and business stuff, and they both meet in the middle and work the tap room together. This week we got a chance to sit down with Deep Roots Distillery Co-Founder Keith Devarenne. A new and already award winning Distillery that was started in Sturbridge Mass by Kieth, his wife Erica, and his Buisiness partner Tom in 2022. They use locally sourced apple cider to back sweeten their spirits, local honey, coffee, and chocolate to make flavors and extracts. Rotating seasonal cocktails. They even have a scratch kitchen and Axe throwing . Such a cool spot!

We got a chance to catch up with our friends at be; in East Bridgewater. They are a specialty shop that sell vintage clothing, antiques, and vinyl records. They also host open mics for the LGBTQ+ community, run support groups, and provide places that bring people together. Unfortunately their brick and mortar business is closing their doors for the last time on Saturday September 30th 2023, but their commitment to love, kindness and community keeps growing. The Pink Boots Society is a international organization that explores and creates more opportunities for Women in the fermented beverage industry.
