    About this Episode

(updated summer 2016) So this one is more for listening to with your kids (or just your inner child if you don't have kids), as it was recorded at my daughters' school this past spring. Nothing but mainstream/top 40 on this one but with some twists, putting several acapellas over different instrumentals to make it a little unique and fresh. This mix is clearly not Soul Shack material, but for the non-mainstream mixes, check my decade long running monthly podcast "The Soul Shack" w/ DJ-J-ME at www.soulshack.podomatic.com (July is the Summer Sndtrk 2016 and for those of you in your 40's, you'll love all of the retro reworks and old school included in the mix, recorded live @ dBar, the Four Seasons Yorkville lobby bar: http://soulshack.podomatic.com/entry/2016-07-20T20_59_40-07_00) Enjoy! Corporate Cocktails (Live @ Malaparte Sept 17, 2014)

Corporate Cocktails (Live @ Malaparte Sept 17, 2014)
So here's the soundtrack I provided for a corporate event here in Toronto back in the fall. Had great weather for the rooftop at Malaparte and this was the soundtrack I created, a mix of lounge/cocktail music along with some retro/oldies, some re-edits of newer mainstream... a little something for everyone with a more mature tone, keeping it classy. (but make no mistake, corporate cocktails don't sound the same as wedding cockails. Sure there's some overlap and certain songs could be played at both, but the overall vibe is different. Sadly however, there's not enough available storage on this account to post a wedding cocktails mix) For more mixes though, check my monthly podcast "The Soul Shack" w/ DJ-J-ME @ www.soulshack.podomatic.com (as this dj-j-me account is just to host a couple of more mainstream/cocktail promo mixes, while the Soul Shack is updated with a new mix every month) For bookings contact Jamie at jamiewichartz @ yahoo.ca Enjoy!

Radius (Feb 20, 2015) aka "Progression of a dinner party"

Radius (Feb 20, 2015) aka "Progression of a dinner party"
So here's a full 4hr night I dj'd at Radius, starting with background dinner music, building up the tempo as the night got later, and then finally switching up to full on bar vibe for the last hour or so of the night. It's all here in one mix and is a nice build up in vibe and music selection to coincide with the night getting later, and of course more drinks being consumed...feel free to use it as the soundtrack for your next dinner party! Enjoy! For more mixes, check my monthly podcast "The Soul Shack" w/ DJ-J-ME @ www.soulshack.podomatic.com (as this account is just to host a couple of more mainstream promo mixes) For booking contact Jamie at jamiewichartz @ yahoo.ca
