    Awakening Your Creativity

    Awakening Your Creativity

A few weeks ago, I held an intimate creative session for the Women's Ministry at our church. God had placed on my heart that I was to speak over our women and that He would use me to stir and awaken the creativity of each of them. This is a direct recording of the impartation that was poured out on that day.

I encourage you to pray and ask God to open your heart and your mind as He stirs and awakens the creative power that is living and breathing on the inside of you.

    Creating Your Space

    Creating Your Space

I can’t tell you how much I have loved being able to take the time, and create a space in my home, just for me. I just need a space where I can be myself. A decorative space that reflects me and what I love.

I believe every creative entrepreneur and artist should have a space in their home that represents them and one that is conducive for creativity...a space that will inspire them and all who encounter it.

Take me, for example. If you could pry me open and take look inside of my mind, it would pretty much look like my home office. Full of patterns, pops of whim and color, accurately describe what’s going on in my head at any given moment.

You, too, can have a space like this, and on a budget! You'll just have to get creative!

Today on the Whatever is Lovely Podcast, I am going to tell you exactly why you need a creative space and how you can achieve one on the tightest of budgets.

    It's Okay to go First.

    It's Okay to go First.

Everybody has to start somewhere and everything has a starting point. Before the things you know and love ever came into existence, there was a person at the start of it all. They had an idea...a solution...a fix.

In this episode of the Whatever is Lovely Podcast, I will be talking about overcoming fears, insecurities, unbelief, and those things that stop you from being successful in your creative business.

    Getting Ready for Mass Retail

    Getting Ready for Mass Retail

Are you a maker or creative? Have you dreamed of having your product on the store shelves if your favorite retailers? Hi My name is Tasha and I am the Founder and Creator of Naturally Smitten. I created my hair care line in 2009 in my kitchen. Since those days, my products have graced the shelves of Walmart, Sally Beauty, and many of their retailers. It takes a lot to get you and your products ready for mass market retail. In this podcast, you will hear a snippet of my session that I covered at CraftCon Midwest. This is material that I would normally charge clients a consulting fee of $100 to have access to. You’ll want to hurry and listen to this one as I will be taking it down very soon. I will be covering: 1. Is mass retail really for you? 2. How do I get my products on retail shelves? 3. What do I need to know about retailers? 4. How much does it cost? 5. What do I need to do to get by brand ready? 6. How can I be successful in mass retail?
