    About this Episode

Unfortunately, you read that right. The top 3 diseases that account for the overwhelming majority of deaths in the United States are all preventable! The Number 1 disease has been the top killer since the 1900's!! This is beyond ridiculous. This is completely unacceptable and apparently it is up to us to change these statistics. Modern medicine obviously has not, and is not moving fast enough. In case you don't have time to listen to this 45 minute life-saving podcast with Dr. Bill Blanchet, here's the bottom line: Go get a heart scan. Forget your cholesterol numbers, learn what your heart score is. Go get a CT Lung scan. Get a colonoscopy, either conventional or the new virtual. Just do it, stop fussing. You can self refer for all of these scans, and most private insurances will pay for the lung and colon scans.
