Mark and I say good-by as we explain why Daily Adventure Tales is going on hiatus.

I meet up with the incredible Kick Ass Dads from the Kick Ass Dad podcast on the last day of the New Media Expo. My fake son, Steve, and the Wonderful Mark put their two cents in as we wrap up the tales of our adventures at NMX. Steve ponders pursuing a personal passion and we wonder, Will Wyoming ever listen?

I choke down the most humble lessons, in this, my epic tale of woe and ash rising as I pursue my passionate dream — interviewing the King of All Podcasters, Cliff Ravenscraft, at the New Media Expo. Like Dorothy, in her quest for the wizard, along the way I meet Sandra Payne, an empathetic video director who had her own year of adventure, Gina Carr and Terry Brock who stepped up with the knowledge of Klout and kindness, Mike Mataluni, a Kick Ass podcaster, who offered up courage and encouragement, and other kindred souls who lifted me up after the most major f-up a podcaster can face! My fake son, Steve, and the Wonderful Mark, both chime in as they finally hear the terrible tale of what went down and cheer about the final lessons taught by my relentless, clueless pursuit of a dream.

We hit the road in our convertible, Red Baby, and head to the New Media Expo in Las Vegas. We share squabbles and happy memories as we travel Route 66, return to the site of the world's former tallest thermometer in Baker, CA and have lunch with the Mad Greek. I skip housework and head to the local Farmers' Market in Montrose, CA. I find out about organic vegetables and meet a wonderful cobbler baker named Clifton. Mark and I try out new recipes. My friend, Linda, reports on 'What's Tasty'. Mark shares his unique view on New Year's Resolutions, and we feature our first live music by The Untouchables Jazz Band

Christmas is a diverse time of celebration. We learn from our fake son, Steve why for him, It's a Small, Small Christian World, We travel to Knott's Berry Farm to sample the world famous chicken dinner. Mark shares his version of the Hanukkah story.
