While we often see the glitz and glamour of the red carpet, cocktails, and awards night, it's easy to forget about the hardworking people who tirelessly ensure that everything runs smoothly, with the festival director being at the forefront of it all.

In this episode of Screen Cap, hosts Cenon Obispo Palomares and Avie Felix sit down with Ed Lejano, a filmmaker, scriptwriter, and film scholar, to discuss his most challenging work yet - serving as the QCinema IFF Festival Director since its establishment in 2013. Ed sheds light on the year-long preparation and hard work it takes to put together a successful film festival, the inevitable challenges that arise, and the joy of bringing together large audiences to enjoy films as a community. He also shares why QCinema gives 100% of the film rights to project proponents, and offers his optimistic forecast for the future of Philippine Cinema.

Revolutions Happen Like Refrains In A Song, the film about the EDSA People Power Revolution of 1986 that was actually shot while it was happening, is filmmaker Nick Deocampo's first-hand eyewitness account of the said historic event.

Screen Cap hosts Cenon Obispo Palomares and Avie Felix talk to multi-award winner filmmaker and film scholar Nick Deocampo about the latter's experiences before, during, and shortly after the EDSA People Power of 1986, and how his film mirrors his personal struggles as a young gay man in the 70s and 80s when homosexuality was still considered a disease that can be cured with medicine for epilepsy. He also shares why he considers a gay bar performer his alter ego, why he continues to write books about Philippine Cinema, and his insights on EDSA People Power Revolution after 37 years.
