    I had the most beautiful discussion with Lou, known for her community 'living and laughing with Lou' which she started with her adored Granny Nancy (who lived to 107 years). Lou talks about how she started this online community as a way to connect and stay close at a time when we were told to stay away. Lou documented her time with Granny Nancy during the covid pandemic, and what started as fun has led Lou to find her purpose — helping people known they are not alone and preparing them for the fragility of life.

    We delve deep into the heartbreak of grief: something we are both very familiar with. This discussion was healing for me & I've no doubt it will be for all of you too. Lou has a warm presence and is so genuine in what she says.

    In a world that glorifies busyness and accumulating material possessions, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that more is always better. But what if you flipped that? Goodbye, things! Less is more to live a life well-lived.

    Because unfortunately, we proudly wear our busy badge of honor, as if filling our lives with countless commitments and a surplus of stuff thinking that somehow it equates to success and fulfillment.

    But what if, deep down, we know that this constant busyness and clutter is holding us back from truly living a life well-lived?

    Renowned author and minimalist, Fumio Sasaki, once said, "Minimalism is about knowing my true needs, and saying goodbye to everything that doesn't serve me well."

    These words carry an important message - that in order to live a life of purpose and meaning, we must learn to let go of the excess and focus on what truly matters.

    Letting go of physical possessions can be a powerful act of liberation. It allows us to create space, both physically and mentally, for the things that truly bring us joy and fulfillment. As Marie Kondo, renowned decluttering expert and author, wisely advises, "The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past."

    But clutter isn't limited to just physical belongings. Our lives can become packed with overflowing schedules, endless to-do lists, and commitments that drain our energy and leave us feeling overwhelmed. It's important to recognize that our worth is not determined by how much we can fit into a day or how many tasks we can check off a list. Instead, our worth lies in our ability to be present, to connect with others, and to make a positive difference in the world.

    Melissa Camara Wilkins, author of "Permission Granted: Be Who You Were Made to Be and Let Go of the Rest," beautifully captures this sentiment when she says, "We can't build a meaningful life on mindless accumulation and constant busyness. To live a life that matters, we have to be willing to let go of what doesn't."

    Letting go can be daunting, but it opens up a world of possibilities. It allows us to free ourselves from the shackles of materialism and busyness, enabling us to make space for the things that truly light us up - whether that's pursuing a passion, spending quality time with loved ones, or engaging in activities that bring us peace and contentment.

    As you bid farewell to the unnecessary distractions and embrace a more simplified lifestyle, you take a stand for yourelf and your well-being. Create room for personal growth, self-reflection, and self-care. By letting go, you make a conscious choice to live with intention and purpose, cultivating a life that is centered around what truly matters to you.

    Today, let's take a moment to reflect on the things that may be cluttering your life and preventing you from living the life you truly desire.

    Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!
