Ronnie McDowell, a country music icon who has worked and collaborated with the likes of Conway Twitty, George Jones, Johnny Cash, and Dolly Parton, is best known for his 1977 song, âThe King is Goneâ, a tribute to Elvis Presley shortly after Presleyâs death.
