Ep 115 - The Break Room: The Power of "No"

Ep 115 - The Break Room: The Power of "No"

The Power of NO, let’s all embrace it more. The Non-Corporate Girls are Back in the Break Room to discuss how empowering it is to reclaim our time and get intentional on how we choose to exert our energy and with whom. Ayanna (@the_aya_brand), Carla (@creneemonae) and Delaila (@missdelailac) take you back to some of the exact moments when saying NO was transformational. Still a work in progress they each have become more comfortable with turning down projects, people and places that are no longer serving. We challenge you all to do the same. Take a listen to this episode and reflect back to when standing firm in your no’s became easier for you.

A little different this episode our #ObsessedWith are things pertaining to our self healing journeys. Ayanna’s is a book called The Sugar Jar, Carla an app called the 5 minute journal and Delaila The Holy Bible App.

Ep 114 - Below The Belt Beauty Trends: A Discussion with Founder Monique Bivens

Ep 114 - Below The Belt Beauty Trends: A Discussion with Founder Monique Bivens

When it comes to beauty trends we went to just the person who can give us the tea. Monique Bivens (@iambrazilianbabes), Founder and Owner of Brazilian Babes (@brazilianbabes_) had a chat with us about the standard of beauty and her impact on the industry. With 15+ years of experience, it has allowed her to ladder up to the Boss Babe she is. Understanding all facets of the business because she was once a student and then an employee has helped her to anticipate her client's needs and give a top-tier experience. For the girlies who love beauty chats and those who can relate to the feeling of trying so hard to fit a beauty standard that doesn't include them, this is a conversation that will resonate.
