She explained how estrangement is a difficult process rather than an impulsive decision. The interviewees also shared personal stories of struggling to gain approval from their mothers and dealing with the lasting impacts. Overall, the episode provided validation for adult daughters experiencing estrangement and explored how to heal from a damaged mother-daughter relationship.
