Ep. 26: They Shoot Horses in Technicolor
The Second Annual Cowboy Themed Rotcast.

You’ll notice the pleasant absence of cicadas on the audio. Unfortunately we did have some audio issues. Guest were recorded with a tin can. And there’s a subtile hint of frying bacon in the film description.

We review two cowboy wines: Barbed Wire and Oakley 5 Reds.

The DVD Chapter & Verse Movie Quiz is a classic cowboy movie. The answer to the quiz will be in the next mini episode and we will discuss the author of the book the movie was based on, and the film director.

    Ep. 25: Quiz Answer

    Ep. 25: Quiz Answer
This is the first show that contains the answer to the mystery movie quiz from episode 25. The answer is a discussion about the author of the book that the film was based on and the director of the film.

Listen for the film clip/quote. It is all about wine! There is also a small wine trivia quiz near the end.

    --Enjoy,
    Rotwang.

    Ep. 25: Oh My Brothers

    Ep. 25: Oh My Brothers
I didn't include any brother talk in the show. I have a younger brother, but missed that opportunity. Still I like the results of this guy-centric episode. Ladies, hang in there, we will have more for you near the end of this series three. Promise.br />
I used three tunes in addition to ”Samba d' Blue” and ”Haunted”. They were:

Coleman Hawkins "Think Deep” was the private eye-like jazz tune under the Maltese Falcon discussion. It was taken from “The Hawk Flies High.”

Now talk about a weird choice—The musical bed underneath the Chapter and Verse Movie Quiz description was: "Olam Boyun Kurbanin/Aman Avci/Hos Bilezik" (Olam's victim's neck?) by Metin Alatli From his album ”Turkish Psychedelic Moog Sounds 1975”.

And we opened with the "William Tell Overture” by William Goldstein from his album "Switched on Classics” both this and the Turkish number are performed on moog synthesizer. That's a clue to the movie. Yes?

The wine reviewed was: James Oatley Tic Tok Merlot 2009
