Ep.19 Reunited & it Feels so Good
For those of you who have been through so much trauma, that you're afraid you'll never return to "normal," this one's for you. This past week, we both had separate and individual encounters with people from our past. You know what they say, if it's meant to be, it will be. This goes for romantic relationships, family, friends, co workers, etc. Tune in to hear about both experiences, and try to remember that one day you WILL see why something happened the way that it did. Our team of light made a special appearance, and we're asking for you to write us with any stories or moments you think people could benefit from hearing. Let us know if you'd like to be anonymous. Ep. 18 Wingin' it

    Ep. 18 Wingin' it
With the last several weeks being pretty heavy for so many, we take it easy this week and decide to just chat and fill you in on some things happening in our lives. Upon doing so, we ended up having some good conversation. For the skippers out there, jump over to 24.30 for the stuff we felt to be the "realest" (& most important) of the bunch. Denise gives us the scoop on her latest post-quarantine coffee date, and lets you know her feelings on being married again. How do you know when you're "ready" to date after the loss of a spouse? Grieving and mourning vs. healing, expectations vs. reality. Be prepared for the word "hibiscus" to sound real weird for a few minutes. We also want to know about your dating app experiences! Please remember to follow and share! @RealTalkAboutShit on IG and FB; RealTalkAboutShit@gmail.com

Ep.17 Let's Get Uncomfortable, Shall We?

Ep.17 Let's Get Uncomfortable, Shall We?
Taking last week off was the right move for us; there are so many massive things going on in the world that require more attention. We think it would be beneficial for you to hear us have the uncomfortable conversations that NEED to be had right now, so we decide to invite our good friend, Jade Redic over for some insight. He tells us about his transition from going up in California to moving to Las Vegas at age 12, his first run in with the police in a new town, and the topic of white guilt gets brought up as well. Having Jade was such an incredible experience, and we can't wait to have him back for another episode! He's a musician, a teacher, and an all around beautiful soul. Tune in, buckle up, and get ready for the ride. Please remember to subscribe, rate, and review! Ep. 16 Drop on by, Light one up
This week, we're giving you a break. The two of us decide to smoke a joint together for the first time, and someone decided to record without telling their co host! This recording started at 45 minutes and we've spliced it down to about 15 just to get the giggles out of it. Ignore the beeps in the background if you can; these stoners were making NACHOS! Listen in for some insight as to what our high conversations sound like! Have fun hearing us speak to you from the FUTURE< 33 Remember to subscribe, rate, review, and share us with your people. Ep. 15 Channeling your Inner Frasier

Ep. 15 Channeling your Inner Frasier
We had such a great time this week with our VERY FIRST GUEST on the show! Today, we're talking with Vegas local, Farah Gallagher Carter. Not only has she been a friend of our family for over 20 years, she's a huge advocate for mental health and comes with a TON of experience dealing with it since she was a newborn. We barely touch the tip of the iceberg with some of her stories and memories, and we'd like to have her back for more. She gives us some insight on what it's been like living with a Panic Disorder, and the trials and tribulations she endured up until treatment and after. We lighten up this informative episode throughout ALL of it. We're laughing, singing, talking sex, and the return of our pubic hair'd statue friend! For all our skippers out there, I recommend jumping to minute 53. You'll get the lowdown on the MAGIC THAT IS NOT FEELING ALONE! As always, if you or anyone you know is hurting or in need of help, reach out to someone, write us, call a professional. 1.800.773.TALK(8255) You never have to be alone. @RealTalkAboutShit -FB, IG @Talk_AboutShit Twitter Realtalkaboutshit@gmail.com Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, RATE, REVIEW!!

Ep. 14 The Struggle is Real

Ep. 14 The Struggle is Real
As much as we're tired of just HEARING about COVID-19, it is the root cause to a lot of our stresses at the moment, so we decide to discuss openly the things that may be causing us some fear. Fear is a massive killer, preventing people from reaching their full potentials day in and day out for as long as we can remember! You don't have to meditate in order to find things that work for you in that way. Who else hates the term "journey?" Hear one of mom's recent journal entries regarding what she's afraid of. We also very gently touch on body shaming. (sit tight for an episode dedicated to just this!) We also discuss AA or NA meetings during this time of quarantine. Are you struggling or do you have advice? Also, HOT TAKE ALERT...Jager vs. black licorice? YAY or YUCK? Be sure to listen if you ever want to know what mom refers to as her "sniffers" !!!! Ep. 13 Disaster Pornographers

    Ep. 13 Disaster Pornographers
In honor of May being Mental Health Month, we wanted to talk about...you guessed it...MENTAL HEALTH IMPORTANCE! We scratch the surface of borderline personality disorder and it's symptoms or signs. We talk about how the media is using fear to divide us and pit us against one another. We touch on the topic of death, and how it's viewed so differently in many different cultures. Give us a listen, and leave a review or a comment so we can get some different views:) {EMAIL} RealTalkAboutShit@gmail.com {TWITTER} Talk_AboutShit {IG FB} @RealTalkAboutShit If you or anyone you know is struggling, please reach out to someone. Ep. 12 This is a Shit Show

Ep. 12 This is a Shit Show
This week, we wing it and just start chatting with one another with no specific topic in mind. We get real with one another about how this pandemic is effecting us mentally, as hard as it is to say certain things aloud. Love yourself and don't compare yourself to others. Do you love talking on the phone, or hate it? We talk about some of the conspiracy theories discussed in the film "Out of Shadows" on Youtube. We love you all. Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review. Stay healthy. Stay kind. Stay safe. (spotify, itunes, google) @RealTalkAboutShit (email) RealTalkAboutShit@gmail.com (twitter) Talk_AboutShit

Ep.11 Holidays: Before & After Quarantine

Ep.11 Holidays: Before & After Quarantine
During this time, there's been a lot of emotions buzzing around. With Easter having just passed, we've officially had to celebrate a major holiday in quarantine. This got us thinking about our favorite holidays and how this pandemic is potentially changing the way we'll celebrate from here on out...especially immediately following the end of quarantine. We asked some of our favorite Las Vegas locals their opinions and get some refreshing answers! Today, we feature a local tattoo artist and shop owner, an actress/singer/artist, a makeup artist and hair specialist, a flair strip bartender, a local bar manager, a massage therapist, a photographer, and a "pyro technician" !!! All of their information is in the show as well as on all of our social media platforms. You know where to find us!! Ep. 10 A Little Love for our Ladies

Ep. 10 A Little Love for our Ladies
As much as we love our men, this week we're focused primarily on females. We discuss that since we're small children, we're brought up feeling pitted against other women, and often threatened by beauty and success. We have a tremendous amount of gratitude for the women in our lives, and want them to know it. Though it is getting better in this day and age, we can do more! We'd like to encourage you to empower a fellow female today. A friend, a family member, your hair dresser, a stranger. Encourage a new hobby, buy a painting, or share a poem for someone on your social media platforms. Women coming together to empower one another can bring on so many changes, and it all starts with US. Let's make a conscious effort to build each other up!
