Welp, Oscar season 2024 came and went and no teen movie won the little gold man but that’s ok because we’ve got another episode of Save the Last Pod for ya! 

In this episode Amy and Dan recap their Oscar celebrations, look back on the 2023 film scene and reaffirm that there is still love for movies. And maybe next year a raunchy teen movie will take top prize?

Your favorite Dave Matthews fans also discuss the Chicago River incident, what it was like to grow up in the shadow of 9/11, and that weird feeling of “home” when you must leave yours to feel whole. Yes, we get a little emotional! But don’t worry we still nerd out over Tim-o-tee and laugh at this film’s exquisite, should’ve-won-an-Oscar dialogue.
