Todays' episode looks at the current and future impact on business due to this pandemic called COVID-19. COVID-19 has made businesses face some harsh realities…they weren’t truly prepared for a crisis. We have also learned that we didn’t learn much after our last global financial crisis, which means we may slip back to stuck on stupid once we make it out of this crisis. We tend to be creatures of habit. Unfortunately.

If you listened to Episode 34, we discussed leading and managing during the 3 phases of a crisis. We're currently in stage 2 [crisis stage]. In Episode 34, as well as in Episode 35, we discussed how mega-retailers are having to ramp up their hiring efforts. This could make the hiring process a little sketchy. Episode 32 we discussed finding and selecting the right team members.

In this episode, we talked about the impact on educational institutions, hospitals, nursing homes, residential communities, restaurants, service workers, supply chain management. We also highlight previous episodes where we discussed managers and leaders operating out of fear [Episode 34] and the employer-employee perspective and the conflicts that arise [Episode 31], and we tied it into today's episode.

The episode looks at how a business can position itself now and post-COVID-19, the various technologies that we currently can use, as well as emerging and potential technologies. We are moving towards contactless commerce. Can you see it? Our Pre-COVID-19 life is no more. We won’t be going back to the old status quo. That is no longer our norm. So how will you and your business readjust and reimagine the day-to-day with this reality as a possibility? How will employers reimagine their working relationship and workplace conditions for employees post-COVID-19? What pay and benefit structures will they create and/or redesign? Episode 30 we talked about Alternative Benefit Packages and Payment Structures. How will educational institutions realign post-COVID-19? From K-12 all the way through graduate school, change must happen if you want to have a strong footing in the future.

Listen in now to get all of the deets!
