Ep.9 Outbound Activities

What is your sales process? Is it something that you are able to use with all your staff? Is it simple yet effective? I wanted to dive into the process that I have used for over a decade with tons of facilities. Follow this skeleton and start making more sales.

What are outbound activities and why are they so important? These are the life blood to your sales system and everyone in your business should be doing them.

The biggest mistake I've made in the past is setting goals based on the wrong foundation. When trying to set up a plan for the next year you need to operate out of a place of honesty. Thinking about creating a path. GPS won't work if you don't have the right starting point, regardless where you want to go.

We will address the underestimated world of forecasting. If you don't understand how much money you are expecting in the upcoming months then how could you possibly make any strategic decisions? We will see how you can combine the aspect of predicted revenue to align with your marketing calendar to eliminate having another dead season again.

In this episode, we will talk a bit about investing in your business. Too often there is a big rush to bring in the latest piece of equipment or things that you feel your business needs. Let's look at how those pieces lead to more sales. Can you sell more because of that piece? Have you invested in your business? What have you spent in solidifying the back office of your business?

We will be talking about accountability. This is just a quick introduction to how to start holding yourself accountable. We typically go through the day being busy and we can't imagine how we didn't get anything clearly accomplished. Well now is the time to start down the road in improving results by improving your accountability.
