Dr. Russell Shapiro is a Professor of Geology and expert Paleontologist who currently teaches at California State University, Chico. He has worked extensively with NASA on the 2020 Mars mission, which recently landed and completed surface samples in the search for potential evidence of past/present life. In addition, he consults on various geological sites throughout the US and abroad; and admittedly makes an amazing bagel.
