Episode 136: Practical Goals for the New Year

I often listen to the prayers of people and wonder if they even hear what they are saying, or if they know the Biblical way to pray.  God hears all of our prayers, but don't we want to pray Biblically?  I'll explain what I mean in this podcast

Why do we need to pray?  Why do some Christians stop praying?  There are many reasons, and I'll talk about some of them in this episode

Why should we pray?  Doesn't God know everything anyway?  Why do we need to tell God what He already knows?  And, why do people refuse to pray?  I'll attempt to answer some of these questions

Have you ever been scammed?  Lot's of people have been, and will be every day.  The Devil scams us too, and we need to be aware and know how to combat his scams

We live in a world of fraud, scams, fakery and scandal.  In the spiritual realm we also deal with these things.  Today I want to expose the works of the devil by sharing some ways he is scamming people, and how we can avoid his schemes.    

Satan tempted Jesus by telling Him that he'd give Jesus all authority over the earth is He'd worship him.  How much authority was that?  How much authority does Satan have to give away?  

If you are a New Year Resolution kind of person, chances are you'll break your resolutions before the year is out.  Let me give you some ideas for how to set goals and keep them
