When you hear the name MAS QUE NADA, you know your ears will be a wash with some of the finest beats house music has to offer, as this DJ and Production Duo from the north of England always have their fingers firmly on the pulse when it comes to what really works for a crowded dance floor. With regular appearances in the UK at the likes of Ministry, XOYO & Studio 338 these ‘Not Actual Brothers’ can also be seen spinning their wares in Austria this coming April for Snowbombing alongside the likes of Bicep, Fat Boy Slim and Rudimental. (And if you can manage to squeeze your way into one of the busiest clubs in Ibiza this summer you’ll understand what a proper party looks like when it kicks off in a sweaty toilet at Hi.)

With it being the season of goodwill, we decided here at the Slimson Podcast to give you one last special episode before we head into the New year.  A 'Slimson Stocking Filler' packed full of House Music goodness! When you hear the name Charlie Magri and the word ‘Music’ you know your ears will be in for a special kind of treat….as for this London born DJ and Promoter mixing the old with the new is in his DNA. Genres and eras work best together as proved by the huge success of his night VIVID PEOPLE DISCO, a party he co-founded that has been selling out across the capital in venues such as Village Underground and Colours Hoxton as well tearing up the River Thames on one of their much talked about boat parties. With more Festivals in the pipeline this summer and another big party in coming on the 25th of February, it looks like Master Magri and his army of VIVID DISCO PEOPLE will be going from strength to strength in 2023.

Most of you will probably know the name Sam Redmore from his DJ work and his unique soul drenched remixes of the classics all of which have given him a loyal fan base amongst real music lovers as well as big support from the likes of Giles Peterson, Quantic, Nightmares On Wax, Lauren Laverne, Danny Krivit and Craig Charles. But back in early September he released his incredible debut album UNIVERSAL VIBRATIONS, a record which fuses together quite beautifully Afro House, Disco, Latin and Downtempo R&B inspired Gospel. Sam Redmore is a name you will  be hearing lots more about in the future and we are thrilled to have him on the show as a guest.

Most people will know the name Jem Haynes from his nine year DJ residency for We Love @ Space in Ibiza, where he played weekly in the Discoteca and on The Sunset Terrace alongside the likes of Carl Craig, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Joris Voorn, Disclosure & Paul Woolford. 

Outside of Ibiza, Jem has also played at some of the best clubs in the UK: Ministry of sound, Fabric, Back to Basics (Leeds), Sankeys & The Warehouse Project (Manchester) and in countries as far and wide as China, South Korea, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & America.

Away from music, Jem is a lifelong Chelsea fan, so might be best not to mention Leeds United's 3 nil demolition at Elland Rd!!! ( What is it about this podcast and the boys from the bridge)
