Episode 14: Kalamata Olives, Slip 'n Slides, NYX Liquid Suede Lipstick, Patsy

Episode 14: Kalamata Olives, Slip 'n Slides, NYX Liquid Suede Lipstick, Patsy

This episode, like so many episodes, was uploaded several weeks late due to Meg being the ABSOLUTE DIRT WORST!
In episode 14, Meg mixes vodka with Crystal Light and can't shut the fuck up about it. Morgan cracks the code about why some Kalamata olives are good and why some are butt. Meg talks about how a Slip 'n Slide would make her pop like a water balloon. We (unfairly) dog on Gen-X for being proud of surviving being latchkey kids. Morgan reviews NYX Liquid Suede lipstick. Meg reviews her cat Patsy.

Episode 13: Mortal Kombat, soft pretzels with cheez, No Man's Sky, Gen Z's pants

Episode 13: Mortal Kombat, soft pretzels with cheez, No Man's Sky, Gen Z's pants

In Episode 13, Morgan discusses the new Mortal Kombat movie before Meg totally derails it talking about Star Wars (again.) Once we get back on track, Meg wants to talk about those big hot soft pretzels with neon orange cheeze (and shares some weird details about her past and present). Morgan reviews No Man's Sky, which is apparently very good now. Meg goes a little weird because of how good Gen Z's pants are.

Episode 12: Zombieland Saga, BEANS, Transphobic Legislation, Keyfish Crit Dice

Episode 12: Zombieland Saga, BEANS, Transphobic Legislation, Keyfish Crit Dice

Content Warning: Mental health, transphobia, childhood sexual abuse

In the first episode of season 2 (which was definitely planned and not just two women getting the depresh and not being able to podcast for like 4 months) Meg and Morgan are back at it. Morgan discusses The Zombieland Saga. Meg draws a line in the sand about baked beans. Morgan discusses transphobic legislation that is being introduced in many different states. Meg reads a rapid-fire list of observations, then talks a little bit about some wonderful Kickstarter dice from Greenleaf Geek. For some reason, ham is mentioned A LOT. Also, Crystal Light.

Episode 10: Kings of the Wyld, Curbside Pickup, Good Dye Young hair lightening system, I'm a Gay Wizard

Episode 10: Kings of the Wyld, Curbside Pickup, Good Dye Young hair lightening system, I'm a Gay Wizard

In the last of our vaulted episodes, Morgan is hungover on Professor Meg's Miracle Elixir 100% Guaranteed Cures Frankensteinism (homemade booze). Morgan reviews Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames. Meg gets fucking hype about cubside grocery pickup and respects the lack of hustle from teenagers leading a war on accurate grocery orders. Morgan talks about Good Dye Young hair lightening products and Meg gets mad about how good Morgan is at cutting and dyeing her own hair. Meg reviews I'm a Gay Wizard by V.S. Santoni and it's absolutely one of the best series out there right now.

Episode 9: Hemnes Bookcase, Mechanical Keyboards, Given by Natsuki Kizu, and Coke Freestyle Machines

Episode 9: Hemnes Bookcase, Mechanical Keyboards, Given by Natsuki Kizu, and Coke Freestyle Machines

Episode 9 is another one of our vaulted episodes, recorded 11/22/2020. Meg is sick as hell right now, and Morgan is going through something so serious she gave herself bangs. This too will pass, hopefully. In the meantime, Morgan talks about her good bookshelf and learns more about Meg's biting impulses. Meg talks mechanical keyboards, because OF COURSE she likes Mechanical Keyboards. Morgan reviews Given by Natsuki Kizu, and it sounds good as hell. We cut Meg's final review out because it was one of those things that when you record it in November it sounds fine, but then a violent, seditious mob of white-supremacists tries to overthrow a democratic election and suddenly joking about how Coke Freestyle machines are preventing the collapse of democracy in America just doesn't feel as funny as it did at the time.
